or... batty batty bo-batty banana fana fo fatty ill be yo datty, BATTY!!
As long as ya don't call me Bats, we're cool. Only women get to call me, Bats. It's a pet name for sweet pillow talking. <chuckles>
Anyway, I took your advice, I think, and dropped Master Brawler and the Pike line. I also gave in and dropped Entertainer and the Dancer tree I had.
My respec, so far, looks like this now:
Master Fencer, Brawler 4440, TK4000, and Swordsman 2030, with my FS stuff and about 45 skill points I have to grind out now. Something wierd to do with my conversion rates and how I dropped skills!?! Either way, I'm looking at 2 masteries I believe. MF,MS, with the rest. And, so far, it's working out well now. Just the one box and skill here or there made a big difference.
Now, Batak, that's a new experimental thing: Master Bounty Hunter with Marksman 4004, Rifleman 1000, and one line of Merchant and the required line of artisan for that. Some FS, etc, etc, same as before. I still haven't gotten to do a bounty yet... but Ranged that I've toyed with so far is actually a suiting change for Batty's story. Already implemented this into a little RP with the Twinkies this past night.
So far, I think the hardest thing for me to get used to is how certain skills work now along with the certifications. I'm finding it odd that I'm pulling off Swordsman attacks with a Stun Baton. That I have to be a certain level to use this or that weapon. How the armor works, especially given that boots and gloves don't seem to have 'any' protective worth stats on them? That I have to be 'prone' to use this or that skill.
I still won't say I'm completely happy with the changes... Warcry, that I saw, still seems broke. And some of the descrepencies such as 'distances' of targets seem a little off yet. However, I'm starting to see 'where' they wanted to go with this. Vanilla is not vanilla, is not vanilla, anymore. So to speak. The balance between Ranged and Melee, to me, seems to have widened as well instead of being more balanced. Maybe that's just me though.
As for dancing with my Sisters. If they do lower the cost, and give Dancers some love. I may pick it up again in the future as I finish my FS grind.
