Swamp snake stew? lol

Whatever it was didn't look appetizing although I think I saw something similar on an episode of fear factor lol

here's the recipe

Now you can remake Yoda's very own recipe to feed your own Jedi apprentice.

3 cup coarsely chopped mushrooms
1 medium onion, chopped
1/4 cup butter
1 cup 1/2-inch potato cubes
1 cup boiling water
2 cup milk
2 egg yolks
2 cup sour cream
2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon leaf thyme
1/8 teaspoon mace
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
Chopped parsley

Cook mushrooms and onion in butter in heavy saucepan for 3 minutes.
Add potatoes and water; bring to a boil.
Simmer, covered, for 10 minutes or until potatoes are tender; remove from heat.
Beat milk and egg yolks together with fork.
Combine with cream, salt, pepper, thyme, mace and nutmeg.
Stir into hot mixture gradually; bring just to a boil, stirring constantly.
Serve immediately. Sprinkle with parsley. Yield: 6 servings.

I dont think it was snakes...probably roots and crap from swamp, but I don't think it had a name like "root chowder" or anything
