Relocation. I know of some dusty backwater planets that are very nice this time of year.
Some of those backwater planets even have new Temples just waiting for Priestesses to finish decorating them and start ceremonies.

Aww..
Can you get them to turn off the creepy music and clean up the bile colored water?
Well...unfortunately the sulfur's here to stay. Kinda part of the atmosphere. You get used to it after a few years and some vitamins. (Available at your local hospital.)
And the music...well, there's a reason Nym's been trying to kick Blood Razors off the planet. They won't turn their damn stereos down.

Well.. my neigbors just hang out by the shuttle with their guns and their drugs, looking to bully the priestesses that walk by. It's like the 'hood. I live in the friggen ghetto all of a sudden. I guess excessively loud music and a foul stench does not seem so bad all of a sudden.

Ok.. just a heads up.. i know its something i tend to check for when around an opposing factions base is faction scanners, and turrets. I dont know about you guys.. but man.. those scanners arent real fussy about whether or not you are rping or pvping.. when you are tef'd.. the turrets just kinda go off and you are pretty much toast... sorry thats just the way things are.. rp or not...
As far as meeting wtih everyone in Zeal first?? i wasnt aware that was something i had to do.. I had offered the city up at one point.. no one took it. So when you say we werent consulted.. well im sorry but when Daitan and i agreed to the takeover.. it was specified that the Rpers be given the right to stay in town if they so choose.. Im not going to be guilted. nor am i going to argue and dramatize over the takeover.. Its the best thing for the city.. and the rp will continue there.
Now the treasury.. lol.. what exactly do you think 171k/week for oh.. 20 weeks adds up too?
The city was pretty close to dead when DF came in.. it had 600k left in the treasury so lets not pretend we were all concerned.. if you all had been .. i wouldnt have been the one depositing cash into it.....
Sorry if im blunt.. im tired and im crabby.. if you have issues.. bring them to me.. if you arent willing to do that.. then keep em to yourself..

Well, given the choice of informing people of a major change, or not... I would have chosen to inform them. I think they would appreciate the information, and the opportunity to ask questions to know where they stand in the grand scheme of things.
it was specified that the Rpers be given the right to stay in town if they so choose..
Specified to whom? The RPers were informed of nothing. Basically all I wanted to know if the city would continue to be an RP friendly environment and if we would be treated with respect OOC.
I had offered the city up at one point.. no one took it.
We were making plans to take over the city, but then you told me that it was not necessary so we stoppped. That's my understanding of it anyways.
The city was pretty close to dead when DF came in.. it had 600k left in the treasury so lets not pretend we were all concerned.. if you all had been .. i wouldnt have been the one depositing cash into it.....
I was never aware of the financial issues of the city. I left that to the city management. If you wanted help, all you needed to do was ask.
I did vent, because I was genuinely pissed. And I will vent in the future if something happens in town that pisses me off. There is going to be friction. Good and bad will come from it.
Misha, I love you hon. You know that. All these issues could have been avoided by better communication. Open and honest communication makes things much easier.
I always say a friendship truly blossoms after the first fight.

Once you have a fight, you see beyond the "good side" of a person.

Then if the two can still get along, you know the friendship is genuine and you also understand the limits of the other person a little better.
*hugs*

If I run to my home to pick up something. I just want to know a few things Misha.
When I first step off the shuttle will I have a chance of being scanned, TEFed and the wolves set upon me and when the loading screen finally clears, will I be looking at options as to where I want to clone?
Am I going to find my house surrounded by mines because someone thinks it would be funny?
I'm not saying it will happen, I just want to know what is going to be done if it does. If Dark Forces decides to place a base, are you going the have the courtesy not to drop it next to my home? If you absolutely have to drop it there, will I be informed so I can make arrangements to move?
Basically, what am I to you as a player? Am I a citizen of Mos Tera first and a rebel second or am I a rebel first and a citizen second? If I am a citizen before rebel to you, don't you think I have just as much right and as much say as to ANY changes take place in Mos Tera as any other player and citizen of Mos Tera? Regardless of faction? If I am a rebel to you first and my needs and concerns as a player are not addressed because of that, then it's time for me to leave.

Misha-lina,
Just my opinion...
The right thing to do would have been to have notified the citizens of what was going to happen before doing so. Nobody is saying if the choice itself was right or wrong. However running a city whether it is real or fake infers that the person in charge (who at some point was elected) shows civic responsibility and keeps people in the loop. It wasn't anyone else's job to do this but yours. It didn't happen.
Compounded with the failure to communicate, the change itself is arguably for the worse. The city is filled with dueling Jedi, lag and griefing Imperials who will kill their fellow citizens. You've allowed this to happen and that can only be interpreted as a sign that you don't care who stays or goes.
You're right, the city is under your control. You can technically do what you want without consultation from anyone. Its simply unfortunate that you have decided to go this route - you have estranged a significant part of your active citizenship.

Unsupervised PvP in an RP area will always lead to grief. Anyone who thinks differently hasnt been in that situation yet. If you think your safe with people who actively PvP...think again. Theres always a group of 3-5 ass-clowns that take enjoyment in making their PvP rating go up at anyone's expence.
The entity formerly known as Zeal might as well be written off at this point. Get angry, say I'm full of crap, whatever...take my words to the bank. Move on and use your strengths for something thats not going to stress you and and cause more problems then its possiably worth.

from my experiance, and it was discussed earlier, zeal eerr um mos tera is still a "friendly" rp city. as with any city in swg there are always a few rotten apples, a pvp/rp city is no different. From my dealings so far with df griggs and misha have been able to take care of anyone that so much of even thinks of trying to cause rpers grief. but they have to know about it. Also from my experiance if i am rping in mos tera the non rpers/pvpers have and will join in. Im still giving the place a chance. The change of the city was a shock, and yes things could of been comunicated better, but this is how it is now. I still think we can all live happily ever after in the little city. Perhaps the citizens of zeal/mos tera need to have a little town meeting, off of the forum to settle our minds and nerves. c'mon everyone group hug..i know you wanna!!!!

If you don't believe him just ask Ekade, who was attacked and killed by those PvPers. And I still have yet to hear as to what action Griggs is supposed to take because of that.

ok lets get this in the open..
1. there will be no mine fields placed near houses..
2. bases will be to the south.. you dont wanna pvp.. then dont go south of city hall..
3. there will be another cantina placed to the north.
4. yanno.. i think at this point in time im just gonna throw this down.. I have enough stress in my real life, I honestly dont care to deal with stress in game.. i come here to have fun and to relax ... thus if you have an issue.. send me a tell.. if you want to make a drama out of it. .im honestly not into it.. nor willl i respond further to it.
5. if you dont like Mos tera.. then dont visit it.. but those of us that are turning it back into the city it was when we first laid it are not going to stop doing what we are doing.
Love you guys.. but sorry .. im not doing drama anymore..

Changes are being made to the city and I am finding out about them through word of mouth and, in most cases, after they are already done.
Look at the setup of base, cantina, shuttleport, clone center. The city is geared to PvP and everything else is taken a back seat. Just try to place a merchant tent there. I can't even enter the cantina.

the cantina they have set up is a buffing cantina nothing more. a new gerneral one should be set up in place of the lucky lekku where the rest of us can still gather.

Enough, this is all bull!!
They have no intention of notifying us of anything, finally after 7 pages a couple rules have been set. The city is now PvP and Imperial, in general they will kill us if we get in the way. My vote is move which i plan on doing soon. Personally I hope Rebel guilds take down your base for you daily. O and Misha-lina change your sig hon you dont live in Zeal anymore.
