So....what is the entire point of this event anyway? I mean..is it just for roleplaying? Sure I may have missed the point somewhere but...why is it happening?

It just does not seem logical that people who would not normaly be slavers or buy slaves would suddenly change. And i hate that Im the LAST to know of something like this.

well to answer your question weyune, its supply and demand. There is a demand for slaves, and some bounty hunters are getting together to build up a supply.
It just so happens that you twi's are just ripe for the picking.

Well something Jaminos's needs to know is what side is he on? He is a gun for hire but only the case is he is hired but he dose not know which side. He is just in it for the money "I will not really charge just in RP I will"

For RP sake A third party is funding the capture, until we specify who its just a mystery. The objective for the hunters who will be working together and seperatly is to collect them and prepare them for auction.

Well Jaminos dose not work in a team, but he can bring the slaves there. Do not count on him staying though. His job is to deliver the merchendise and then leave. That is unless you pay him to stay and do some simple body gaurd work.

I have been running aound as the NPC a bit to get some RP freakiness rolling. It also helps me build the story a bit. so if you see the White armor, thats the NPC. Whar is traditionally in red or black. Don't treat the NPC like you would Whar. He's meant to be far more threatening.
Now Jaminos I can understand you being competitive with the others for the money. But as for the others we should be working together.

There seems to be plenty of liberator so is it too late to be added as a slave?

And is there a consensus as to when and where to start the event yet?

Hashum is taking the same approach as Jaminos as he's no longer a member of MERCS. So essentially I think everyone is out for themselves.

Wey: as of right now we are looking at next week, though hunters can now being collecting the slaves. Ideally from now till next friday slaves will be collected. Next Friday the liberators will attempt to free the slaves, though at this point it looks like the liberators far out nuber the slavers. The next Saturday there will be a special follow up event that may or may not happen. It will involved a verteran ship so the spacing is limited and there may be a BIG surprise in store.

Oh and as for the reason why buyers would be buyers. Well any Imperial caould easily purchase slaves for a labor force or personal entertainment for a moff. Any criminal element type could also feel the need for that "stature" item that is known as a slave.

As for the reason why slavers would be slavers Whar already answered that nicely. BHs for some unknown reason are collecting people to be sold as slaves. The employeer is unknown but Jerrel Huntsmen seems to be incharge of the organization efforts. He is also hireing merc's to guard the merchandise at an unknown location called Outpost #136479.

What time? And.. the band may be severely depleted at Roba night if we are all caged.. or did you already take that into consideration?

MERCS??? And who is taking in the orders for My men. While Novall is on leave Iam the Head of the organzation..I think we need some dancing girls..hehe

Don't you think the that this would only add to the event. Imagine everyone showing up at the Roba expecting to see the lovely Ekade and Kreetles and low and behold they no show...and no one knows where they are.... Sounds like great RP to me. But I understand you have commitments so I'm just saying consider it. You would have time to notify the proper people I would think to get the mood right.
