We've got MERCS and possibly TTF-S on the same side (With the exception possibly of Nyvveck due to the jail break) against Templ who now has the aid of -ONE-, and possibly Sharn and Dwilah from what I can tell.

Sounds pretty even to me.

The key, like E-bo said, is to know your character. To do this, what I did was take my character and I basically went backwards in time and created her history in a manner that was logical and consistent with SW lore.

With a background and a personality, and some practice, it becomes easier to react IC. When I log in, I am already thinking as Ekade. I don't think as me.


My last bit of advice, it is OK to play a simple character. Someone can RP a stormtrooper, and only ever use 3 lines, and be considered a great roleplayer. Why? Because they are playing their role perfectly.

Find a role that is comfortable for you. Also, it helps to be around other roleplayers. If you try to RP around non-roleplayers, you will find it more difficult to maintain a sense of immersion.

It helps not to start talking in game mechanics, templates, etc, etc in spatial or trying to jump into Uber-God mode RP as well though.

Not picking... but these are areas I think we could help ol' Snado out with. Maybe we can start an RP class one night a month? But, again, this has nothing to do with Temple's allies.

I'm still watching this with interest even though I've bailed. ...still scratching my head over a few things as well... need at least one update there...

Temple -1 since we've got an alt that decided to stay captured. -3 if you nix my two toons (-4 if you include the alt).

But, it does at least sound balanced now... but aren't any of you worried about the visibility that might get generated over this in -One-?

No I think they are trying to play their role by helping others.

oh yeah and another thing, reason im going crazy over my template, aside from finding a way to beat the hell out of nyvveck, which oughta be really interesting, is my guild, they need someone to be strong and a tactician, ask doolac what i mean, he oughta member real well with the ambush i set up for him >.<

damn my guild makes me feel so well loved and important... using me as the template whore...

Perhaps the consequences of RP'ing a Jedi properly in this timeline are great. But then again aren't they supposed to be?
