the seller had forgot to add a zero to this particular piece (had 3 or 4 of em on the vendor) so I got the piece for 25k instead of 250k

Also see Skarr's post about upping the difficulty of the NPCs by taking level 51 missions. Evidently if you can get difficulty 51 or higher missions, the loot drops become much more frequent.Seret Sajet wrote:Not really, pretty much all NPCs drop them, just some more than others.

Marooned Pirates/Lok (drop rarer parts)
Tuskens
Aukuans (drop rarer parts)
Jantas
Geonosians
Nightsisters
And probably everything else, just not as often.
