Yes, the two retards are at it again.. Brannon and Braga are going to ruin the next movie by having all new characters (not the Enterprise cast) in a movie about the pre-Kirk Romulan wars. While at the same time they ruin Enterprise by not having the Romulan wars in the series.

The second foot is about to get in the grave... Star Trek; you will be missed.

yeah... as much as I like st. I havent seen the last movie even, I knew it was a piece of crap.

I don't understand why they didn't make more movies off of the other series. they just kept with tng. and now this. its almost as bad as General Grievous. ;)

I think they are doing a great job with Enterprise.. but they have this whole other race gonna destroy the earth thing dragging out too far. I would also like to see some romulan war episodes.

Exactly. But its supposed to be a bout the birth of the Federation! they say. Well in Enterprise they foreshadowed the birth of the Federation with Archer standing there, but now he is out?

The worst part is thats just a lite example of how bad the trek time line is screwed up. It's so bad they can't realistically take the Trek franchise forward at all.

Yes, the brilliant folks at Paramount know how to infect their should be Cash Cow with Mad Cow.

Movies:

It all started going down hill with Star Trek 5. Shatner thought he could direct as well as Nimoy (Three Men and a Baby, ST3, & ST4), but...couldn't.

(Off Topic: And tell me that the pictures of Saddam Hussein upon his capture didn't remind you of Spock's brother Sybok! "Share your pain with me...").

Television:

- You're damned right that the First Romulan War should be fought on the Enterprise series. That's one of the things that I was looking forward to with this series. What a travesty. Continuity nightmare included.

- STTNG: I respect the show, but for me it missed the one crucial ingredient that the original series perfected: conflict between main characters. The Next Generation crew were too friendly with each other in my opinion. If you know the '60s show, every other episode Kirk was 2 seconds from punching out Dr. McCoy from some "crisis of conscience" and McCoy was ready to angrily "report this to Starfleet, Captain!" Not too mention Spock and McCoy verbally dueling.

Of course they ended up being cool later, but it wasn't a gratuitous make up. Those guys argued like friends do sometimes, without hating each other for life.

While this upcoming Romulan Wars story needs to be told, they should have done it with Archer's crew starting on TV then continuing it in feature film form.
