If any shipwrights are considering taking pre-orders for starships I'd greatly appreciate being included on this list. I would be more then happy to assist in anyway possible, either by gather resources in advance to help with your construction or by donating any of my remaining lots for your harvestors or factories.

Speaking of which has there been any confirmation on the number of ships a player can have yet? I was hoping for 3 not including the vet ship.

Zannon and my alt Cista will both become Shipwrights when JtL comes out. Right now we're in Beta learning the ins and outs of the profession. As soon as we have a good solid list of what we'll need, and we're not restricted by the NDA, we'll let you know.

That goes for any and all folks out there that needs ships. Zanjet and Blackfire Industries will be working together to make sure all you folks are travelling through space in style.

I better get a discount seince I will eb working most space smuggleing operations on Nocturnus. :P But in realality I intend to do just that. That is if Zannon approves it.

I think you might be mistaken in that assumption...

What kind of price range are we looking at?

I know we can expect "Selling YT1300 for X million credits" being shouted at the starport but if they just use standard materials... there is no way In hell that I will pay that much.

I won't be able to give you an idea until after the NDA is lifted because there are a lot of aspects of making ships that are very different than any other profession that will greatly effect price.

What can you tell us?

Will we need to be grinding missions like mad just so we can afford to buy a ship to actually have fun in?

The last thing I want to to is be the last person in the galaxy left on the ground. (Which I KNOW is what is going to happen. I will walk into Casino Night, my voice echoing off the walls, "Guys, anyone? Hello?" I will see a sign penned hurriedly.. "Shipwright not available, they are having fun up in space, and you are not BWAHAHAHAHA")

I can tell you this. All ships will be relatively cheap. Good versions of all the ships will be were you spend your money.

Quick question. I'm not in the JTL beta, thus I'm not bound by the NDA. Zannon, would you have a problem with me posting about what I've "learned" about shipwright so far in the beta?

Actually, yes, I would...there are too many of us that are admins on this board that are in JtL Beta and we don't want to have any suspicions raised against the source of your info.

If you want to post, keep if vague and not specific.

Sorry I'm lazy but what's the release date suppose to be on this? End of Oct. right?
