OK I am not getting this whole new force system

problem number one:

did whips missions first to open reflexes stuff so I could get melee and ranged defense, and maybe some vehicle speed and after almost two weeks of it being opened, I can still only learn survival 1...I thought they changed every week?

so now I start the captains missions to open another branch, and I do the first 3 of 8, and he says you have to wait another day, so I wait over 24 hours and he still won't let me take more missions...

You only unlock one tree per cycle, per mission. So you did Whip's mission on the first cycle and unlocked survival. If you did Whip's missions on the second cycle you would have unlocked the vehicle tree (at least thats what I was told by people that did the second set of mission). Its too bad but it does prolong the process of becoming a jedi for those that are going for it.

For me I did the Captain's missions on the first cycle and only unlocked the Ranged Accuracy tree. Sucks for me, since that does me no good.

I'm still working on the second cycle of the Captain's mission. I have 2 of the 8 to finish tonight. I had to wait a full 24 hours after the first 3, then another 24 hours for the next 3. Maybe you were a few hours or minutes off when you attempted the 2nd set of 3.
