So you finally get your Jedi Character opened, now what?

just wondering what people were thinking of doing if they ever open up their jedi slot...

I don't plan on unlocking a jedi but if I did I would probably do the same as I'd do with a new accout, go totally different. My main character has his own story and his own path beginning to end, I see no room throwing a Jedi factor in.

Besides I'd want to be a species I have not been, have a story nothing like my others and personality all its own. Diversity helps keep my interests.

So you can't make your main character a Jedi?

Not really. You could, for example like Skarr's first option, make Ja'be Adaks and make him look just like you, then play him as Jabe the Jedi.

Or you could go the Dune route. Have your character take on a new name once he becomes a Jedi as a symbol of change. You could be Muadib Adaks (just kidding, cause there is already a Muadib player in the game) or Badmofo Adaks. You make the call.

Chal and I have already talked about what happenes when Novall unlocks. Pending they are still together, there will be a new Talon clan member... their son

I'd go with an evil twin kinda thing. Name him Kalhel, give him a scar across his face and team him up with an R5 droid named FourQTwo.

Jorhel's already a jedi. He just hides it well. Just wait till one day his lightsaber will be shot into the air out of Arties droid lightsaber compartment in his head. Fear the architect!

I will probably never unlock (although I did get 2 "freebies", so I am working up to half way there).

Even so, I chose new char and new species. I am not sure what exactly, but I have strong feelings toward making a villain type.


I was under the impression that your main became the padawan now??? Although I admit I do not read up on these things. My statement could be based on old information.

After Pub10 your main becomes the Jedi, but you get a second slot (nonjedi).

Btw, I would delete my char if she would ever become a Jedi. ;)

Very good question. I voted "New Character, New Species". And BIG frustration. As much as I'd want to roleplay him/her, breaking new ground for myself and for other Jedi RP'ers, my desire for continuity would only allow for the Jedi to appear at "our most desperate hours".

He'd be like Obi-Wan Kenobi. A hermit waiting in a remote region for...something. Buried deep in the "Unifying Force" he'd risk his cover sparingly, and then reluctantly. The climax of the Nocturnus Crisis storyline in Mos Eisely would have been a good moment, helping out in the Battle Droid fight.

Just my personal view. Not telling others how they should RP Jedi.

I would start a male zabrak character named Jaibonite Adaks who has a bitter unexplainable hatred for Nocturnus and always wants to start a new guild. Then he would pvp and always lose. Because thats the way I like it baby.

so your main becomes the jedi?? that sucks, I would hate to destroy all the skill point areas I put into to create the character I like...

also if you attain jedi padawan novice, can you drop it like any other profession and keep your alt char?
