now, every time you logon, it asks if you want to run the new "background download installer" which runs in the background and dl's patches while you play etc etc...

It only asked me that once. No time after that and I've logged in quite a few after. If it keeps coming up you may want to report that.

How can the game download a patch while you play?

Doesn't the need to patch preclude the ability to play?

I believe its for downloading stuff they patch in but do not use right away, like JtL items and such. I could be wrong.

First time it came up it asked if I wanted to run it and I said no....I hate that shit...computer thinks it can manage your shit!
