Always Attackable defined:
RP guilds would declare guildwar on eachother. This does not mean you HAVE to attack every red dot you see. The idea is that RP action scenes would play out more realistically.

I think the "always attackabe" idea is a good one. Then again, I'm about at non-confrontational as it gets (for the most part). If this goes through, I'm going to have to ask Doo for some assistance in modifying Artie and adding some sort of defense mechanism because he'd need to defend me.

I vote yes, only if everyone is adult about it and sticks to RPing. I don't want to have to worry about some yahoo trying to increase his/her pvp rating by praying on members of my guild like Dwilah, Jorhel, or even me just because they know we can never win in a PvP fight.

It would fit right. But not everyone in the guild can fight. I voted no.

I voted yes because if they are in the guild and they are at war you are vulnerable to attack. As long as you wave their banner by your name then you are one of them.

I ALWAYS want to attack Abe.

I don't know about the rest of you, but that President was a right bastard, and if I see him, I put a bullet straight through his stovepipe hat.

Yes, yes and yes. If everyone was always attackable, I'd like to see the person daring enough to spit on an Imperial Colonel.

I voted no and most of you know why. I hate PvP through and through but that doesn't mean I hate the idea. I say run with it if you like. I'd just end up removing myself from the guild. As a Master Swordsman/Master Fencer/Master Brawler/TK 4/0/0/0 plus some FS skills I already have I'd probably be quite formidable so I'm not worried about losing all the time. Its just that every time I'm in some big PvP confrontation I walk away with a sour taste in my mouth even if I came out on top. Thats just me and my weird way.

Yes, as a roleplayer I hate to see BS like that.

The only time you spit on an imperial colonel is in your last act of defiance before you are put to death... or something dramatic like that. :D

Ummm did SWTales make an in game guild while I was gone.

I dont mind an always attackable system, but there are two big problems with it. One is the dweeb who attacks every one for no other reason than wasting time. Second is the potential for massive grieving over so and so shot me cause I called his mom the b word and I want him band for it. If Soney where to change the system themselves (and I know they're not thinkin about it, this is just hypothetical) I would love to see them also create a jail house for those who murder people in the cities. Say player x kills player y and player x is sent to the jail house for an in game hour durring with you could have imps with a list of saying to hekel the prisoner.

Said dweeb is removed from the guild. Griefing ends.

The idea isn't so we're all fighting each other. It IS so we all know in the back of our brains that there are now consequences. If it became a PvP fest it would be a failure.

Did anyone play Beta for lieniage 2? You could attack anyone that was not in city limits. The good side to this, it was fun.. unless if you were greifed. They would wait until you are fighting a monster, then when you were low on health, they would come in and kill you and act like they were so amazing. The up side is it add a lot more choices. You could form clans and have wars.... whatever. Take over land... but this is star wars, a bit different. Still, there are a lot of ups and downs to this system.

I voted yes, the only thing I dislike is that you couldn't participate in another guild. Unless MERCS was one of the guilds, I'd have to give up my position there to participate, and while I like the idea I'd have to have to leave MERCS.

Griefing should not be a problem as we have the ability to remove the griefers. That and RP common sense should keep people in line.

If we do go forward with this, I would like to see a no DB rule.

Also, there should be some sort of rules of engagement. If I am on stage dancing and I need to go AFK because one of my kids needs me, I don't want to come back to half-naked, incapped toon. :D
