I was just sitting here thinking of all of my SWG memories, and I was jus thinking about my first fight ever in the game. I know it was more than a month into it, because the Rodian Massacre had already happened. I was doing Imperial Missions out of Restuss when I came back in and saw a red dot in the town.
It was the first time I ever saw a player as a red dot (who I wasn't dueling) and my heart started pounding. I saw the rebel signal next to his name and tried to figure out if I should use my scout blaster which was quick, or my strong laser rifle that was prone to missing.
I don't know what made me want to kill him more, the fact that he was an overt rebel in my city or the fact that he sent me a /tell saying "I don't want to fight." He ran circles around the fountain near the east gate so I couldn't shoot him for what seemed like hours, then finally he made a break for the theater. I ran in after him, scout blaster firing away. He ran out of the theater, but he never made it back to the Starport.
I delievered the deathblow and sat there feeling very proud of myself. The guy sent me another tell saying he was an architect, and for some reason, I felt even prouder.
What was your first non-duel fight?
My First Fight
Well here was my first fight.
I was in a cantina just getting my mind healed when a guy was giving some female twi a hard time. I told him to knock it off. He started making fun of me and my bone armor (this was my third week into the game so around july 28th 2003) I had my old trusty DL44 at my side and had some stims on me. He challenged me and started fireing at me. I dodge the shots most of the time and kept useing body shot 1 over and over. IRl my heart was pumping fast as well. I finaly defeated him and told him if he didnot say sorry to the girl that I would kill him and loot all of his items of his courpse which you could do way back then. He said sorry but kept making fun of me so I DBed him and stole his stuff. A week later he said sorry to me and I gave him back his stuff but I kept his credits. I hate seeing guys treating women bad. We are Gentalmen so we need to respect them to a point in my thoughts.

My first fight can be summed up as being pwn3d a thousand times in Anchorhead as a noob/Rebel. Thanks Ace' Calibara for teaching me what it means to be a noob.

My first fight was in Coronet, I saw some rebel heading to the starport and started blasting him with my laser rifle. I was winning the rifle duel and then he started healing. Some other Imperials in the area had gathered around and started healing me and helping me finish him off. Then he logged.
However my most memorable fight was after I got my first AT-ST and was in Coronet walking around with it. It was filled with rebels (4 or 5 anyway) and I had the AT-ST slaughter them all. I still laugh about it to this day.

I think my first was a daring raid on the rebel outpost on rori. We'd hiked there out of bordem in search of the ever elusive mammoth jaxx(then slower than squalls). We fought and cleared out everyone there, then left back to our grind.
But my fondest battles were when Restus was starting to lose it's popularity. I had 3 storm troopers, and always had them out. Any time a rebel steped foot into town, he was quickly driven off/killed by myself with the aid of my squad. I had Restuss on Imperial lockdown up until the only allowed one pet, and everyone started doing the buff/comp thing. Ah, those were the days.....

Novall and I had travelled from Ancorhead to Mos Espa (or Entha?.. the one with Teras Kasi trainer in it). When we stepped off the shuttle, Novall was attacked by an overt imperial.
Novall and I were grouped.. My heart started pounding as they blasted eachother. I hit the TAB key and realized that I could attack this guy. They kept shooting and I just froze.
Finally I went after him, I was a very low level TKM at the time. My heart was pounding a mile a minute. The Imperial fled after taking a few hard smacks.
We both chased him (on foot, there were no pets or vehicles). Finally we caught up to him and incapped him. Novall instructed me to DB him. Now my heart was REALLY pounding.
I killed the guy. It felt so strange. I sent him a tell a few minutes later to apologize.
It was unreal seeing RED letters above someone's name for the first time.

I was in Ancorhead the first time an AT-ST was killed. Until that point, they were indestructable death machines.Hashum wrote: However my most memorable fight was after I got my first AT-ST and was in Coronet walking around with it. We were cheering like a bunch of crazed Ewoks when that thing finally went down. I almost thought I head that little horn blowing in the background.

My first fight.... I died in Anchorhead followed by seeing in spatial "You've just been AkA Deathified" - Almost wanted to puke. Almost.
My second fight..... an NPC AT-ST incapped me, a player DB'd me and followed with "Slice This" since my title was "Slicer." Held back the chunks once again.
My third fight.... I was in Anchorhead and after one hour found someone to train me in a medic skill. Right before he was about to train me he was attacked by an Imp and he asked for my help. I helped, killed the Imp and deathblowed him. I was then bombarded by tells from the dead Imp telling me his fight was one on one and I had no place jumping in and making it unfair. The puke could no longer be held back.
And people wonder why I hate PvP.

My first PvP experiences were on the Tarquinas server on my first character; my guild there was heavy PvP. I got pawned all the time but there was one instance where I somehow...somehow, I actually have no clue, managed to get the upper hand on the arch enemy of our guild... It was him and two of his Rifleman buddies taking me (Pistoleer/CH) and a two noncombatants down over and over again (we were valiantly trying to hold down the fort until reinforcements arrived) and who knows what happened...my guess is he did himself in somehow by running out of brandy or something, and one of his friends left to do something--either way his partner got split up and ran around the third base in our complex ((we had three Rebel bases and a cloning center inside a complex surrounded by a generic house wall)) and the partner was being occupied by the noncombatant guildies I had with me, somehow I managed to get a few good shots in with my pistol and he went down...and I DBed him. The only time I ever DBed somebody in legit PvP. Through chance, not skill. He kicked my ass like thirty times about fifteen minutes later in vengeance but I had gloating rights...he was practically impossible to knock down.
Though, it should be noted that I came over to Gorath to get away from the PvP. Hehe.

In your heyday of PVP (if you had one), who was your nemesis? The one person you always wanted to see die more than anything?
My personal PvP book is very short.. but I found myself killing some guy named Bruttis (sp?) a lot. He was a bounty hunter in FBI, always hanging around in Bestine. The other person I loved killing was Teomai Zon. She was always throwing poision at me.. she had to die.
Thanks to those 200+ damage VK's that Ceka made (which are still impressive, even by today's standards), I was scary for that time. :P

MY first PvP experience was on my first day with SWG.
I joined because some of my friends played it and I wanted to be a mean and lean Stormtrooper. On that evening was a RP-PvP event in Bestine (back when you could walk around in White Armor without being sliced to pieces by Lightsabres) nad so my buddies stuffed me in a ST-Armor.
We tried to arrest a female twi'lek, but she drew a pistol and started firing. Of all 8 Stormtroopers she chose me, the Novice Marksman. I was quite scared.
I did'nt have a clue what to do, but luckily my Avatar started firing by himself and so I could concentrate on running after her. As you can all imagine I did not bring her down, but I was really exited anyway. As it was Rp, no DB happened and we could "arrest" her after this.
This was really fun. Nowadays you can not do this in large cities anymore, since there is a 90%probability of "peaceful" Jedi popping up and killing everybody.
