swg worked fine last night...today I defragged my HD and it didn't, ok so I uninstall and reinstall...that didn't fix either and it should have, so I went to the website tech forums....apparently if you are running xp or win2k, launchpad crashes before anything gets going....

and so far none of the fixes posted has worked for me

btw, jtl launchpad works for people, but the regular one doesn't


can anyone else test this out?

doh, guess what, it only works once, period, that's it

trieed renaming it over again and re-running launchpad, it dloads the file, then creates errors and crashes again...wtf is this bs!!!!!!!?!?!?!?!?!?

I had to relaod launch pad 6 times ladt night before it worked. Try that. Also it takes 10x longer for launch pad to come up now.

what do you mean by reloading launchpad 6 times...do you mean double-clicking the icon 6 times, or actually reinstalling launchpad 6 times?

on another note, I went and reserved 2 copies of JtL and got jtl beta discs, so maybe I'll go do that tonight then
