Wow, they really threw the Entertainers a bone there and gave them a somewhat challenging and interesting quest to do for it. I'll be glad to help when the time comes.

Not angry here about it. I know the Great Pumpkin is coming... BUT back in April there was a plan to include Smugglers in this "Social Professions" patch that is outlined here. Smugglers were supposed to have content connected with the Cantinas and Entertainers. It's all in the old patch schedule from around that time. That is, if SOE hasn't deleted the archive and sent it's remaining atoms to the Texas Super Collider.

And then they revealed 80% of what the Smuggler Revamp that they had scheduled for June of this year was going to look like and....well, we're still cleaning up the vomit from that one.

There was an uproar, the merry-go-round fell down, little Clarice stole a Smuggler-lamb from the barn so it wouldn't get slaughtered, and the Devs promised to come back better and stronger.

They probably decided to just do All Things Smuggler in one task. Even Hercules is coming down from the mountain for a thirteenth Labor. For all we know we might still get added to these quests later. *shrug*

LOL.. be careful what you call "content". When you look at what we actually have to do to complete the quest, it is not much.

Even so, I am glad to have been thrown a bone.

Um, yeah, but it is a broken bone as it seems, because the new theatrical dance has the same problems as lyrical and formal with the base dance.

But don't fear, i heard rumors that they fixed several other dances and got new flourishes for some of the old dances on Test Center.

I failed quest #5 for the 2nd time.. GRRRR. I think I must have missed a clue.. again. What a drag.

I am normally not one to rant.. but the Dancer Quest is total F-BOMB BS.

Given: I have been a dancer for a very long time. And I know what I am doing when it comes to the profession.

But I have failed mission #5 THREE TIMES IN A ROW.

What is mission #5?
Basically you accept the mission and have just over 2 minutes to speak with the crowd to hear what they want you to perform. Essentially they give you clues as to how to succeed and move on.

Why did I fail?
Because the Audience failed to give me sufficient clues each time. Typically you get 4 or 5 clues. "Do Basic2" "Do Popular" "I want to see florish 5" "I don't want to see flourish 1".

My most recent failed attempt.. I got ONE clue. "Do Basic2". Well I did basic 2 and I still failed. The bugged audience failed to give me the clues I needed to succeed.

Immediately following this attempt I got to see 3 other people pass easily due to the fact they got all the clues they needed.

AAAAAAAAARGH!! I am so pissed.

Can you get help for this quest? I mean can others, possibly in the group, canvas the crowd and get the clues you need or is it simply the fact that you talked to everyone and only got the one clue? I'm just curious, if you need my help I'm usually around Tat so just give me a holler anytime.

Yes you can get help. I did have Yala's help last time. We did everything perfect. I simply got shafted.. AGAIN.

I will be trying again tonight. I will be asking for all the help I can get.

The best part is.. if by some fluke I manage to succeed.. I get to do it AGAIN in mission#7.

I am starting to think I am bugged or something.
