The sad part is that little mook actually ENJOYS being the most disliked person on the server. He sees himself as Vader but what he fails to realize is he's more like Jar Jar Binks. Vader we love to hate, Jar Jar we hate to love and rarely do.

I've seen him do some ign'nt things in game with my own eyes, but personally he was actually very helpful to me once or twice.
*dodges tomatoes, eggs, and thermal detonators*
Back when I was dealing in holocrons and crystals he took time to point me in a few lucrative directions. Never asked anything for himself, but I just made money.
There were two other times that he volunteered his Jedi skills in loot raids that I had set up. I didn't end up needing him, but he was on-call if I did.
Bottom line, he's probably a very young kid who stopped trying to hack his local police department's website when he discovered Galaxies
Not trying to justify him. I'm just speaking on personal experience. He probably deserves every iota of infamy...and cherishes it. That's the key to defusing him. No big mystery either. As with every other of his type, ignore him and he's neutralized.
That thread in SOE Forums made his month. Like Gen. Patton, give him a headline and he's good for another 30 miles.

I just thought it was funny because more than a few of us have wondered what his deal is. Then I saw that thread about him in the SOE forums and I couldn't resist reporting it.

Y'know, I never understood why everyone hated Cappen/Cappin, then I met him in game. He did everything in his power to grief a roleplayer (one who I haven't seen much since), and people like that get no respect from me.
You're right, he really enjoys being hated because he's being noticed. You're absolutely right Seret, he thinks he's like some mob boss but everyone is just annoyed with him.

There is a mentality out there.. I call it "Fame through Grief".
It is not hard to spot who these people are. We had some show up at casino night last night.
Like I said, the only way to "beat" them is to ignore them. They will get bored and go away.

We had a guy on our server in UO called Ryin that loved to grief our RP events. He'd bring his little group of kids and sick deamons on people ect. Just a real pain in the ass. One day abunch of us got together on non RP alts and just totally kicked his ass from one end of the map to the other. Then, after we killed him we gated him directly to the chaos shrine were we had invisible people waiting to kill him again after he rezed. Needless to say...he lost a good 40% of his skill that night after the murder penalty kicked in.
But he never messed with us again

Nothing like griefing a griefer.
