My greetings to you all.
I am Af'ecks, Captain of the Mos Tera Overt Military, and Elder of the House of Torvis Dar, Red Caste of Warriors. I visited your city this evening and was quite impressed with the tolerance your Imperial residents have for their Rebel counterparts. I had to take my leave before I could be fully shown around your fine city, but I hope to return when my duties allow, to continue to explore what you have built. My fellow Rarius, Private Scosciss brought me there to show me (OOC) how much you guys roleplay... (IC) Anyhow, I have duties to attend to, but I shall return soon.
Be well,
Rarius Af'ecks
Tal or Greetings

It was a pleasure to have you all in our city.
OOC: This isn't an RP forum but its still welcome. I just wanted to say it was nice to have a big variety of people in town tonight. It was really fun RPing several different aspects of what was going on. Thanks for stopping by, we look forward to visiting your city soon.

A special thanks from me because I only logged on for what was supposed to be a few minutes after a tough night of family problems and ended up staying on and having a great time...thanks to you and your counterparts, as well as an extra special thanks to Ekade (I had no idea that when I walked out of our cantina you'd be there).

It was really great meeting everyone last night! I wish I could have stayed up even longer, but as it was midnight I had to hurry to bed. I was late to work this morning because I didn't get enough sleep last night (and because my baby/alarm clock inexplicably slept in also).
I wanted to say that I've been really burned out on this game for a few months now (as I'm maxed out on my skill points, and grinding any other skill tree seems infinitely boring to me at this point anyway), but I had more fun showing Keer around town and meeting up with the rest of you folks last night than I've had since Zannon's last big RP event.
So thanks for coming by, folks! Hopefully I can swing by your towns as well soon.

Yes Last night was interesting and I can't wait until I become a better RP'r so I can become more involved in these events.

You'll get better by doing. Just throw yourself in there. You can allow your character to develop over time as you search for your niche.Lok'i Vidaar wrote:Yes Last night was interesting and I can't wait until I become a better RP'r so I can become more involved in these events.

And don't be concerned about sounding silly or not doing it well. All you need is a good idea of your character's personality then just run with it. What you'll find is everyone is very accomidating to your Roleplaying. No one makes fun of someone else for not doing well. If they do we sick Dooo on 'em!

Also, don't be afraid to change your character if something is not working out well. The Imperial Colonel in which we all know and love today actually started off as the Imperial Senator to the moon of Rori.

Laff! I was late for work the next day too! I woke up like Marting Sheen in Apocalypse Now.X'an Shin wrote:I was late to work this morning because I didn't get enough sleep last night (and because my baby/alarm clock inexplicably slept in also).

Sorry to hear about the burnout. If this is the case, play a little less and take a day or two off. This works great for me. I am always very excited to play. Also, don't to things that are not fun. For me, this meant giving up tailoring.X'an Shin wrote:I wanted to say that I've been really burned out on this game for a few months now (as I'm maxed out on my skill points, and grinding any other skill tree seems infinitely boring to me at this point anyway), but I had more fun showing Keer around town and meeting up with the rest of you folks last night than I've had since Zannon's last big RP event.

I roleplay almost exclusively now. I do go hunting from time to time as well, but I have "maxed out" my skills several months ago. I hunt for the social aspects of it.
