Take a look at the list of badges you haven't gotten.
At the very bottom before all the "Ace Pilot" badges you should see this one...
"... for destroying the Death Star"
Oh thats no big deal so ......wait....WHAT??!!
Did they throw in a mission to destroy some Death Star the Imperials happen to have laying around? If so what did the Imperials think, third times a charm?
Am I missing something here?

Maybe a "go back in time" mission? Run the gauntlet?

Oh yeah, they got some mini death stars in mothballs from the old sith fleet.

Hmm, interesting. But also very predictable. Who wouldn't want to hit the Death Star? The draw is close to being the JtL equivalent of becoming Jedi in the Ground Game.
I could see SWG tapping into that desire. And I bet it would be fun as hell. I wonder if there'd be a part for a Privateer to come in and assist like Solo did.
As Dwilah Bothan N" Boots said, maybe they'll square away the continuity issue with a "back in time" fix. *If* this is true, it brings about another cool idea for beefing up your character's past. Maybe you could go back in time to help rescue a VIP (Very Important Prisoner) from the Death Star. Or be a part of Lando Calrissian's Battle of Tanaab. Classic battle/events type of thing.
Of course, if the creation of any of this type of content further extends the eta of the Smuggler Revamp, then they are just bad ideas not worthy of the light of day

Actually im not 100% sure but i heard that the badge is for doing the FLIGHT SIM tha luke sets up, and i believe that ingame if you go reb you may get a chance to fly the sim yet i havent heard anyone say it yet so it may not be in game, also if they start time warping this game im gonna warp myself and my credit card out of they're hands cause im tired of the bullshit that SOE is pulling and i hope all they're sorry asses get fired when my letter reaches G.L hands about how soe doesnt care for what he created and that if he so truly loves it and hates when people fuxors it up he should have a talk with LA about whats going on with SWG

Keer beat me to it.. but yeah, I was going to say that the Jedi to Death Star ration in the Galaxy According to SOE is 1:1.

Sweet mother of god.
They've completely gone off their rocker this time.

Nothing to see here. Move along. That's not a death star. It's a small moon. Really. We just affixed repulser engines to it so it could move around. Didn't you read the Corellian trilogy? Move along......Move along.

I read somewhere that two options are being considered:
1: An advancement in time for continuity sake.
2: A prototype Death Star, never mentioned in the movies.
I would hope option 1 prevails, but I'm not holding much hope for that.

Am I the only one who remembers that in the time line we're between A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back. There is a second Death Star and for those who didn't read the Jedi Acadamy Trilogy there's a proto type in the Maw Cluster. So it is possible to at some point in the game to fly agaist one. Though knowing the brilliant work of SOE they'll srew it up too.

The flaw in this argument, Jerrel is that using what's continuity in the movies and/or the Expanded Universe as justification for what could be in SWG doesn't hold much weight.
Neither the films or books have Jedi Battalions marching around or a busted market for spice.

Yes and that is why i wish SOE didnt run this game... they try to hard to aplease everyone and they think Jedi is the way to do it..lets make it possible to be one, but not tell them( 2 months later)
Dev1 :Damn they found out how to become jedi
Dev2: ok lets move to plan b
Dev1: whats that?
Dev2: We tell them that we are changing it and that it will be harder yet it actually wont but it will give us more time to delay the combat rebalance that we cant do anyway
Dev1: Smart thinking..and we will make a village that should give us a couple more months
i believe that is exactly how SOE handles this game everything the non-jedi community wants we have yet to get
Jedi wanted a revamp guess what they got it and im willing to bet that jedi starfighters are gonna soon follow
And just to let you know iam one of many who has writen IGN,Fileplanet and other computer game mags about the poor proformance and lack of Dev to Customer relations

Hey I'm just acknowleging that there are 2 more Death Stars out there and where we should be in terms of time line as I understand. The fact that SOE has screwed the game up at every turn does not belie the fact. Heck SOE could come out tomarrow and tell us that their gona put a Death Star around every planet ingame because of this bs excuse of galaxies being an alternat reality but til they do, and I shuder to think of the probability they would, all we have to go on is the books and movies to give us a clue as to what direction they may take us.

Yes, but as we both seem to agree hasn't what SOE
already done with continuity tell us that we really
don't have a clue as to what direction they may take us?
Who foresaw the particular continuity faults so far? Not me.
