There is a dock command so you can board multiplayer ships while in space and I can't figure out how to get it to work. The closest I got was when Ekade tried it from her fighter and it said I denied her request.

I am trying to do this with my veteran reward yacht.

I believe that docking command only works with certain NPC ships, although I'm not perfectly sure (didn't figure out how to go to Hyperspace til 11pm last night). I've had missions where I had to secure a ship by docking with it after disabling it.

I don't know why I didn't think of this last night when we first tried to find each other, Jabe, but I think /dock only works after you disable a ship that you've blown up...and then all it does is you get more loot from it.

I am just trying to figure out how passengers board multiplayer ships in space.

I thought the command for checking out a disabled ship (after you take out its engines) was /inspect. I figured /dock was something else. I'm really curious about this.

There's an Imp mission where you "secure" a frieghter by docking with it, taking it over, then escorting it past a bunch of Xwings.

Jabe, I don't think multiplayer ships can be boarded in space. I think you have to all do it on the ground.

I thought it was all covered in the manual that was under the beta tester board. Didn't they switch it to the live forums yet?

How do you get the more advanced missions after doing your initial 5 for the pilot trainer?

in beta once I got my first box in each column there was a new option from the recruiter and she told you to go to the next level recruiter.

Ahhh.. TY. I only have 3 of the 4 boxes.

I guess I need to blow up some more TIE's.


Riddle me this.. it seemed like I was gaining faction points while doing the first 5 missions.. but after that, while doing the Duty missions, I seemed to stop getting them. Anyone know anything about this or am I hallucinating?

One other thing.. I HOPE the next level pilot trainer is NOT in F-BOMB Mos Espa. I don't need to be running from the cantina to the starport trying to avoid contraband scans.

I think that may have been how it was in beta too. I didn't bother paying too much attention to that b/c I wasn't concerned about faction points at the time.
