Overall, I'd have to go with the hard liquer because of the extra sensation.
Can't beat a good cognac going down like a butterfly and spreading it's wings in your chest. Ahh!

I prefer a good beer.. but it depends on my mood. I also dabble with a nice bottle of wine.. or a good stiff drink of good ole' rye whiskey.

It is all about the beer, and not many can make it better than Western Canadians. I like a lot of European beers, but my favorite beers seem to all be from local microbreweries from around here.
