Brother, that is one broad spectrum.

First, what kind of ship? A starter ship? Teir 1,2,3 or 4? Imperial, Rebel or Privateer? Leather seats or chrome thrusters?

Second, its kind of hard to list ALL the stats and what is good and bad just yet. With SO many parts each with their own individual stats its not an easy thing to list. Plus ships can be customized to your preference. Maybe you want more speed or super defense. Its all 100% unique to you.

Right now lets narrow down what you want and decide what you're looking for and what your prefrences are and go from there.

To be honest man I dont even know yet. Ideally I wanted my own Bounty Hunter Ship. Something where multiple players can fly in like the YT-1300 or the Firespray. I'd want it to be heavily armored and well armed. But those factors are secondary to speed.

Right now I'm not really looking to but but I wanted an idea of what to expect to pay. The markets a mess so I just wanted to be able to be for warned if I was gona need some thing like 10 mill just to by something that half as good as I want.

A friend bought a Y-wing chassis in Eisley last night for 70K. I have no idea what more advances stuff goes for.

Whatever you do.. go through a friend. Many Shipwrights are out there to screw you over.

70k for that Y-Wing was a total hose job BTW...no matter what the stats.

Pretty much. Was that just a Y-wing chassis or were all the parts included?

I take that back...it probably wasn't a total hose job if they guy that sold it was buying resources for high prices to make it...then he was just covering his expenses. No blame there.

That was just the chassis. I have seen them priced as far as 200K so I thought it was an okay deal.

If only we had some experts, actual shipwrights, on these forums who could post reasonable prices for chassis... If only.. :D :D :D

Yes, I have to admit. Shipwritghts gouge pilots and in turn resource dealers gouge shipwrights. Then again, i've made double my credit high in SWG in just a couple of days.

Right now, all orders are custom (since we used over 35 MILLION units of resorces grinding and are low right now)...but I can assure you...if you're not buying from ZanJet, you're probably getting the shaft.

Yeah, I hear the market for steel is insane. I kind of wish I was still in the "resouce game" as it were. :D

This is an exiting time though. Everyone is having fun, cities like Mos Eisley are rocking, and it all feels very Star Wars.

And as long as Zanjet continues to purchase their additional resources from me I will not have to resort to price gouging other outfits. =)

So Zannon how much would a ship like the one I talked about run me from Zanjet (Yes Zannon free plug time...hehe).

What I've found so far with y-wings and dunelizards

From what I have seen, 50k-60k seems about the going rate for a y-wing and Dunlizard chasis, which you then have to buy the deed for another 15k at the ship dealer in the starport.
