I'm taking one of my characters down Master Ranger. I'm looking for a good profession to combine with it. I was thinking Rifle but I'm concerned about aggro. Maybe swordsman? Any have good templates or ideas?

Master Ranger Master Riflemen is a really good way to go. Using camo kits can really assist a Riflemen when enemies wander too close. I had a Ranger/Riflemen for a while but I didn't pursue it for two reasons. 1.) I love Swordsman and brawler class skills too much 2.) I didn't have the patience for the beginning levels of Riflemen.

Another good combo is Bounty Hunter. Those tracking skills really come in handy for tracking marks.

Its always a good idea to take the profession you have and enjoy, in this case Scout/Ranger and play off of it. Go with professions that have prerequisites you already have, in this case Creature Handler and Bounty Hunter.

But I won't deny Swordsmen is a great PvE profession. Its fast and vicious. Its the only profession I've had that I don't plan on EVERY dropping.

swordsman is good so is tka

swordsman fo rthe damage/damage type good for large creatu res like albatrosses and krayts

tka for te versitlity of its meditationa nd defences

Rifleman is a pain to grind, but with Ranger, you could have a promising template. I'd consider Rifleman, but also Master Medic if the skill points allow; you'd become a very hot commodity for hunting groups.

Rifleman is the best choice for a ranger. you will love it trust me.
