why are there even space POI's?

I just went to all the ones in coro system to see what they were

answer: nothing

nothing was at any of em..

Personally, I think that they are:

- foci for spawn activity

- future mining areas (the one's listed as having mineral rich asteroids/planetoids)

- hints of things to come yet in the Expansion

Just my gut hunches. But if they turn out to be nothing, SOE sure did waste alot of ink and creative writing talent in the Guidebook. (Or maybe they just wanted my sucker money).

Its the devs way of telling badge hunters like Skarr to "Suck it!"

I saw a pirate frigate hyper in near Tatooine the other night and attack some freighters. It was kinda neat...then it happened again about 2 hrs later.

Thats cool. I do like the idea of them being somewhat rare I guess...But I would like to see them take up orbit around a planet for a bit or attack something, then leave after a random amount of time...

You don't know cool until you and your team goes head to head with a Corellian Corvette.

I keep looking for those pairs of Star Destroyers I can see from the ground, but they aren't there!?!?

I swear I saw a Star Destroyer in the Lok system yesterday. Maybe I mistook a frieghter for one. We were doing Skor's Tier 4 mission and fighting wave after wave of Ties, Tie Interceptors and Tie Advanced Fighters. While making a pass on one of the ships I thought I flew past a Star Destroy. After the fighting stopped I looked for it again and couldn't find it.

The lack of these in Beta is why I didn't sign up for JtL when it went gold...
