I know that many people who pre-ordered JtL have gotten their copies and have been well on their way playing. But there was a wait for some while other straight retail buyers were playing and believe it or not, some pre-order customers are still waiting. After a week of live JtL!
This funny tell came from one of the best players and oldest buddies in-game:
He: Still nothing! Whenever I call they say 'tomorrow' ".
Me: Damn! If I'd known it would take this long I could have just bought an extra when I bought mine and Fed-Ex'd it to you.
He: I could have walked to California and picked one up by now!
I felt bad for him, but I could'nt help losing it.

Bah. I was in the same boat. Did he order from lucas arts? I'm still pissed about how I didn't get mine till the day the retail here on base got it. 30$ wasted for nothing. I wanted that speeder too.

You can still get the speeder if you have the Pre-Order code that should have come with your
pre-ordered copy.
Go to this site and enter the code. Re-log into SWG and the speeder should pop into your Datapad after that.

(It may take you to the Combat Upgrade sign-up page, but still enter your pre-order code in the fields provided).

I never got a code. Apparently, if you ordered through Lucas Arts, you don't get it. Go figure. Damn you lucas arts.

I never got a code either. I certainly don't see one anywhere in my little box or copy or anything. Sniff.
I was under the impression that the preorder code came with the Beta disk...which I never got. I preordered like the week before launch.

I received a CD in a jewel case that had a reg code on the back of it exactly like the way I received the full version. Double check.

is the reg code the little numbering below the key? and if so, where do i go to sign this thing in again?

should be on a little white sticker on the back of your jewel case. If you pre-ordered JtL and got the special Beta disk use that code instead to get the flash speeder. If you already registered the regular code you can re-register the beta code without a problem (I did).

There's only one sticker on the back of my jewl case. it has the CD key on it, and below that there's another number. I didn't get the beta, so i can't really mess with that.

True. You need that Pre-Order number. But you're Bothan. Get some Spy Net-workers to "ripple the fur" for ya'. ;)

Is the preorder code a 7 digit code followed by JTL? That's the only other number on my case other than the key for activation.

No, the pre-order code is a seperate code on the sticker that is on back of the JtL Beta Disk you should have gotten if you pre-ordered (unless the schucks at EB Games or elsewhere didn't get enough to give to their pre-order customrers like they most certainly did to some folks). That code will get you the flash speeder.

I got the flash speeder just by registering my jtl beta disk and playing jtl beta.. their was no other code besides the cd-key for the beta...
p.s. I'm still waiting for my copy of JtL...
