Creative Writing Critique WELCOME

If anybody's ever in the mood to rip apart a story or set of stories I've written for like, you know, consistent thematic elements and character, little details that may not make sense or are fuzzy in their meaning, or pointing out any symbols that they might see that I may be unaware of...I'd love hear it. Any comments or critique on anything I slap in the IC forum is welcome welcome welcome.

The posted chat logs are hard to read.. maybe take out all the "Dwilah Thi'nel says,". For some reason my brain stops processing when it reads the same thing over and over, and I can't filter it out.

But back to your actual request...

This critique is more "me" than "you"... but if the post is too long, I will not read it fully, I will skim it and miss some of the meat. The reason I say this is "me" is that I am often in an environment with a lot of distractions and can't settle in to novel-reading mode.

Thanks for all the offers, guys, but I had sorta hoped people who had maybe already been reading my stuff would chime in with overarching suggestions across my writing. Perhaps those people are nonexistant however...lol.

about the only critique I can give, is along ekade's line of shorter postings, as I tend to speed over them if they are long, but if it's a series of shorter posts, i read all of the content

maybe ekade and I are alike


also far less rodian/bothan sex would be appreciated...can't keep my lunch down

I agree with posting in small incriments. By no means shorten your story but feeding it to people in small bits rather than on big chunk is easier for people to swallow (whew, that was a mouthfull ). I tried to do the same with my last RP post but I think it still might of came out a bit too long to take in.

As far as comments for you past RP posts I think its a testiment to your writing that no one has anything to correct you on. Just keep doing that voodoo that you do so well.

As far as the rodian/bothan sex.... its still better than Trandosian/anything sex. Thats enough to cause certain types of dementia.

I have a difficult time with long reads, so I don't tend to finish them. Its nothing personal but increments are also better for me.
