Missiles?

What missiles do you guys use?

I loaded a Mark III seismic on my ship and found they did very little damage. Is this just a crappy missile? The stats looked good.. but maybe there is something I am not understanding about missiles.

Are there missiles that are particularly useful in PVE or PVP?

im using mark3 protons 3000-6200 dmg

unless they are concussion missiles, most missiles aren't going to do much until the shields are down...
