48 Thugs outside of Restuss on Rori
14 Spice fiends
23 Cobral guys
40 pirates from the Droid cave

I spent a good 2 hours at Fort Tusken. I killed go knows how many of a variety of tuskens and got some loot.

The loot I got:
- Gaffi Stick
- Gaffi Stick w/ Poison DOT
- Locked Container
- Satchel
- Tusken Gloves
- Tusken Boots
- 3 Projectile Pistol Barrels
- Tusken Robe

Mind you, the Tusken Robe is RARE to loot. So if I can loot a RARE item how freakin' rare are these parts??!!

OK...as an NPC, I killed about 60 meatlumps last night...no parts.

I've killed every evil hermit, wandering Kitonak, and random NPC I've run past on Tat. The total is probably close to 40-50 in the last 2 days.

Total number of loot parts for the kits.....

What a wonderful idea! Give us the notion of new self crafting items but no parts. A while back when Act I of the storyline hit we had to loot parts for a decoder. For that mission the devs increased the loot drops of NPCs. I think its time for one of them.

Also I've noticed people posting that they've found planet-specific parts. Things like Naboo fibers and such? Are these kits specific to planets? If so can I only kill Corellian thugs to get the parts I need because I got my loot kit there?

No, the statue is a naboo statue, so the parts say that they are Naboo parts, but it appears anything will drop them...if you're lucky enough.
