The replicant wars have begun... (event rundown)

A small sect of the Empire has begun replacing people with replicants/ programmed clones, who do their bidding. Who is who and where trust should be faithfully placed is something that no one can be certain of right now. The corruption has already begun:

The only man who can stop it, is a replicant himself who only lives 3 hours out of the day and on some days his memory is recessed to a previous verison of himself.

Why is this happening? What is the motive? Who is replicated? Or the real question: How did they capture my likeness? Was it that brutal punch from a fight, the handshake, a simple kiss? Or was it the night that... uh, well.. you get the idea.

Dwilah Thi'nel has apprently murdered Coiyonite Adaks. After seaching his corpse she has discovered a vile labeled "Jabe Adaks: 100%". Now to find out exaclty what that means and is Coiyonite really gone forever?

I have decided to not post negatively on this. I will do my best not to post negatively at all anymore. I do admit to feeling exceptionally bitter at the moment, but there's no point at writing another critical and potentially offensive post. Its unfortunate that most of you have seen more of my real life angry/dark side than the positive things I have to offer. There was a day on these forums that I had a good track record and had never argued or gotten in to a flame war. Because of that I felt a lot better about my participation here and about being someone who managed this site.

I don't think of myself as a negative person. I do however, feel saddened that I have lead so many people in to RP situations from various aspects of this event and that those situations can no longer come to any sort of conclusion. As the GM that is my fault.

This weekend, I was supposed to take a stab at playing EQ2 with some people from clanbbf.com. I don't think I am going to do that, at least not just yet. I don't like having loose ends and I don't think that I have even begun to tap the potential of what is to be experienced on Gorath.

With the above post missing, I must figure out how to deal with revisionist history in RP. Perhaps its just another unexpected challenge to be faced as a GM or maybe a sign that I wasn't a good one to begin with. It is probably a bit of both. At any rate I have to make some decisions about where the event stands.

I badly wanted to bring my main character back and to be honest I have come to a point of pure desperation to do so. Technically every second I walk around with him it was OOC and now both of them are stuck in RP limbo. So for now the event itself is in limbo. I will either bump this thread or start a new one to let everyone know whats going on, once I make some decisions.

Thank you all for your interest, it has been really neat to see people respond to the event as it has progressed thus far.. I look forward to more successful RP situations to come.

...and Jabe is back thanks to Dwilah and Illbleed. Jabe is the only specimen thus far that has been able to resist the mind controlling effects of replication. His memory of putting himself to death because of Coiyonite's control was too strong to be wiped from his mind. So you can expect him to take a leadership role in the resistance in the war against the replicants.

We'll see who comes out of the wood work next as things heat up.
