The event will start at 8:30 CST at the cliffside ruins near Little China on Tatooine. Bring comfortable and no restrictive clothing so you are able to maximise agility. Secondly Bring your weapons to train with, but no vibro weapons will be used.
Fly to Little China, Tatooine. the ruins are located approximatly 570, 350 about 800m away. Hope to see you all there

Is it possible to use vibro weapons if I take the powerpacks out?
(I don't mind getting beat, but I don't know if my non-masterness will even be a challenge without my top two pieces of equipment. Either way I'll enjoy it, I like the look of a balanced staff better than the bladed one. I'll bring 'em all. In fact, if you TK's didn't do so much damage, I'd love to use nothing but lower level equip.)

I didnt think about it either, but I think what could be gathered is from rumors around tatooine (Dariis has told a number of people IC) but truelly it was an ooc invite to come IC

Nice work Dariis. Thanks for your effort. It was a social event where instead of "Can I buy you a drink?" it was "Hey, you wanna go a couple rounds? WHACK!"
I had never intentionally PvP'd before this. I'm gonna get hooked if I can find more "fair" fights. As time went on, things got smoother and had more action. I think future events will be even easier to help pair people up appropriately. Your character did that scenario very well.
And if you were wondering... I also did learn alot. OOC mechanics, I learned a whole lot. And the IC opportunity was enlightening as well.

I though Dariis did a good job in pairing combatants.
I learned a lot too. I now know what warcry does, and when to use it. I was considering using a gaffi as that is a fencers best weapon. However, the curved sword looks and sounds so much cooler.

I do want to say a couple things...
I did get a little bored, because things seemed to be moving kinda slow, for a while, BUT I think that is the nature of starting something new. I will come to future events because I'm sure they will get more exciting as you gain experience in doing these events.
I got a little confused in the 2 on 1 thing. Pretty much what happened is that my brain understood it as everyone for himself... After seeing the second one, I realized what you meant. Once again, my apologies to Glacial because I rocked him when he wasn't expecting it. :-D
But overall, good job, I was really impressed with your ideas for the event, and how well you put those forth!! Keep up the good work!!
