For the curious that are just trying it out...

I'm in as Praow. Undead Warlok on the Role Play server Argent Dawn(Eastern Time).

In my grand whopping total of one night's play time during this busy and festive week, I'm having as much fun as I first did when I Beta Quested.

In those short hours I had two decent Role Play exchanges that I like to label as:

- Happy Death Day!: "Welcome, Forsaken kin. It only hurts once." (A greeting from another RP'er that I thought was kinda slick). And,

- Undead Men Tell No Tales: Another Warlock and me testing our talent in crafty lying. "How would you trick a jaded Demon? Or corrupt a chaste Priestess?" Think Dread Pirate Roberts and Vizzini from The Princess Bride. Comical if it wasn't totally In Character.

Then work fatigue and Turkey's Revenge (tryptophan) set-in and I woke up 3 hours later. :x

What server are you on? What name are you going under? Look for me via /who.

Copy of Oeree's PM to me from a while back. That server name is suspect and I'm pretty sure it's "Malganis".

Also, check the Forums with a "Silet" search. If he's posted, that'll nail down the server for sure.

Unfortunately I tried my second MMO for the year and it was EQ2. It sucked, I lasted less than 3 hours. Any game where I can't pick a last name or design a character that is not shaped like a pear is not my thing. I would like to try WoW, but I don't see myself feeling the immersion, the characters need to look real. From what I have seen, they don't.

If am in error please correct me, all the WoW screenies I have seen look like SD characters. Maybe those were by choice. If anyone has screen of their character they would like to share on the forum please post them. I am very curious, because to me character creation is the first most important part of a game.

Yes, they're all, SD. But, that's the warcraft style, and personally I'm rather glad they stuck with it. A more realistic warcraft just wouldn't seem right.

The Dark Side has won me over...

Yes I joined the ranks of WoW for some fun on those nights where nothing is really happening in SWG.

I am a Troll Rogue by the name of Malfandango on the server Agrammar.

With me on Agrammar you will find some old friends like Tensonic/Jotun (An Undead Warlock named Selevent) and Gaaralow (An Orc Warrior named Meatbomb) along with a long-time gamer buddy of mine and a few of the folks I work with.

I will eventually make a character on Argent Dawn to join the few of your there for RP but I have yet to be able to immerse myself enough in this game to RP. I mean to say its very fun and impressive but not grounded enough for me to RP.

There is a lot of good things I could say about this game, and I mean A LOT, but for now I will only give out one thing....
... the load time for this game would shock any SWG player.
