wasn't tryin to brag, just proud of what I accomplished...my first real urgent emergency of my airline career...just kept saying to myself, "it's just like the sim, it's just like the sim" over and over in my head, lol...

also want to add, that all of the spoken lines in the story are exactly what was said, including the TopGun line, lol

I kinda figured that story was an adaptation. The details were just so rich. Glad you made it ok. I got a little envy for you pilot types - that's all I wanted to be when I was little. It brings new meaning to that old saying, "D*** your eyes!" Except in this case, the eyes would be mine.
