I know there have been some threads about people not liking their jobs or being stressed and all...this is kind of along those same lines, but different.

Does anybody else have that one person at work that gets on your nerves so much, that the mere thought or sight of this person threatens to push you into an uncontrollable stream of conscious frothing? If so, please discuss it here, I am curious about the idiots of other professions.

I have 2...

One is the daughter of the owner of the company I work for. She is a diagnosed paranoid schizophrenic, but is functional enough to hold a job and make it through college (in 8 years mind you). All that aside, she is by far the most worthless individual I have ever met. She knows the system, she knows that her father can't make her do a damn thing, and knows she can get away with being lazy and still make....let's see...approximately 5 times what I make in a year? No joke. She comes in at 10am every day (we start at 7) and she leaves at 2pm (we leave at 3:30)...on a good day. When she is at work, her frequent smoking schedule is interrupted by her 15 minute spurts of work in which she does absolutely nothing but irritate the people around her with her. If I have to hear about her F***ing horse one more time, I'm gonna scream.

Number 2 is the plant manager...he is a 48 year old wang that acts like a 15 year old. He is balding, but refuses to admit it...he keeps telling me that his 19 year old daughter is "hot" (direct quote)...he finds it absolutely neccessary to tell me about how he hooked up with some 43 year old chick and was thrilled to death because she was "young"...I have never wanted to vomit so regularly in my entire life. He is lazy and complains about his plantar fasciitis (foot condition). Nevermind that he had an operation to fix it already and has taken over 3 weeks of vaction that he didn't earn this year. Oh, he also likes to think that because he has a title at the company (imagine that, a mere mortal being "Plant Manager") that he knows his asshole from a hole in the ground. Its funny when he tells me what to do, considering I have worked there for approximately 6 years on and off and he has been there for just over 1. I am also less than half his age, which means I get the "I am older, I am wiser, I have been around the block a few times" attitude. Eat me. Oh and he stutters. IS that a reason to hate him? Nah, thats cool. The fact that he sucks at life is why I hate him.

I feel the pain, trust me. I happen to work in a call center for a busy computer reseller. Aside from the stupid phone requests for everything other than computers(biblical tracks, home shopping channel, direct tv), there is a lady at work that drives me bonkers.

She lives a life of excess and her cubicle is filled with the clutter of kittens and other small fuzzy creatures. I like pets too, but apparently not as much as her. In order to not be incoveinanced she has taken it upon herself to put a small refrigerator underneath her desk and a networked printer so she doesn't have to get up to go to refrigerator or printer . For lunch everyday she eats a huge freaking plate of crab salad and sometimes a whole package of Oreo cookies. To top it off, she has frequent flatulance that bothers her co-workers(thank God I sit farther away from her now). You can hear her talking on the phone with customers half way across the stadium(Yes, it's a rather large room) and she frequently discusses trival or for that matter irrelevant thing swith business customers(totally unprofessional). To top it off, she somehow thinks her position is a management job and finds the need to order people around. Granted, she's a decent person outside of work but professionally we could do without her =)

As of right now I have been awake for 40 hours straight for the sake of my job. But thankfully you just made me feel a lot better about that. Thanks man,
