Things heated up yesterday as Jabe and Novall began to work together in hunting down the replicants. Novall and the mercenaries are particularily looking for Isleh-lin who has been missing for some time. While questioning a suspected replicant, the transponder signal for a device hidden in Isleh-lin came in to range. Novall and team went to the location only to find an empty building with the transponder laying on the floor and a note next to it saying "Nice try Novall".
A search of the surrounding buildings was executed. The search party entered a small guild hall nearby where Coiyonite was hiding in the basement. (I lost my connection as they were approaching it! but got back in quick.) When I got back it appeared they were on the upper floors conducting the search, so Coiyonite bolted out of the building.
Later in the night Coiyonite was captured and interrogated by Kirt Visa in Mos Eisely. The details of that encounter are not yet public.
GM Comments
There has been an overwhelming response to this event and people are having a lot of fun. I can't thank everybody just yet because who they are is still a secret, but I really appreciate the help everyone has been so far. Right now we're not looking for more bad guys, we have enough and its getting difficult to manage the event. Not to mention how the event has intertwined with other RP. The magnitude and complexity of the whole thing is getting difficult to manage. People are welcome to participate in any way they can, we can always use more "good guys".
Right now Isleh-lin is helping me validate some of the proposed RP, so if you are looking to introduce something or have already done something significant in relation to this event please let both of us know. Thanks guys, you know who you are.
Because of all the loose ends, I am planning to run this event until right before new year's. It would be nice to have 2005 Coiyonite-free.

I know some people in Templ who may be inclined to be on the side of the Good Guys, particularly those who are concerned for Isleh.
Perhaps you should find a reason for Jabe to contact them. E-Li and Deathren are the people I am thinking of.

Make sure you dont group MERCS in as "good guys"

Were wild cards and have only been drawn in against the bad guys because our better halfs (wives and such) have so deemed it fit to rescue Isleh. Once we get her out...all bets are off

Novall is only in it to keep his stronghold and business intact, everything else is a secondary or not of a concern.

I can safely say Jaminos is not a replicant. Jaminos is in only two places and neaither can anyone access without death.
1) his house
2) his ship
and well three is turning in bountys but Jaminos scans for any of his DNA left behind. Jaminos keeps out of these wars for to make sure he is not replicated himself. So novall keep Jaminos out of this.

I would just like to comment that it doesn't seem like certain people are litening to Jabe. There has been incidents of mistakes in the RP, from what I hear of things based on pure speculation to metagaming. There are things we'd all like to happen in this but it can't if its brought to a close too fast.
I can't help but feel its a lack of communication in-game and OOC. Jabe has asked everyone who is involved to run their ideas to him or Isleh. However, it doesn't seem like this is happening. Both sides, the good guys and the bad guys need to communicate, not everything..the element of surprise is good in some cases but when it cancels out someone elses wants, its not fun and not fair.

Most of my part in this consists of "Hay, so and so is here...meet me here!" and thats where I go. As far as tossing out ideas...thats gotta be someone else cause i'm just playing along.
I dont really want to comment about the needs of the one vs. the needs of the many in a story. My reply will be harsh due to the many time's I've had to eat it for RP and I really dont wanna hear the tears hit the floor.
I agree that the ideas need to goto a central point, being Jabe and Isleh so that they can be controled and the dynamics be kept to a playable level.

My 2 cents... A good number of people are loving how this is playing out. I have gotten many tella about this.
It is a success, people are roleplaying and having fun doing so.
You can never please everyone.. as such, do not base your decisions on people who are not happy.
Like Novall said.. the needs of the many. Many are enjoying this. Whatever you do, keep this cruising along for them.

Yes, that's the entire idea of the central point. So no one has to 'eat it'. Usually that happens because something wasn't set up in time. If you spring a supprise on Jabe, how do you expect him to have a decent response prepared?
This is his show that he is providing for us to enjoy. Don't make him work harder than he already has to. Jabe mentioned that this will come to a conclusion before the end of the year hopefully. How is anybody's guess and that is what makes this so fun.

Everything is progressing nicely, we have recovered from several internal "errors" mainly on my part but the wheels are spinning again and its in a direction that most will appreciate. There is some necessary throttling in the event at this time as some things are moving a bit quick, but rest assured that everything will work out just fine.

If there needs to be a slowdown, then by all means make it happen. Remember that I'm always open for deals
