Yeah, it may seem like it's been that way for a couple weeks now anyway, but I *honestly* couldn't make that call before I knew what I was getting with the live version of Worlds of Warcraft.

Kinda speechless right now (yup, mark that date on a calendar :-D ). There's just so much as far as the game itself that wants to come out of my mouth that if I tried right now it would really qualify for the name of this forum, Jibber Jabber :lol: Sooooo, I'll just talk about Keer.

Hm. First off, I won't be totally *gone* gone until I give a hard look at the Smuggler Revamp whenever it comes out of the Circle of Dev Oracles. And since that won't be for some time into 2005, Sony's probably got my money until the Summer at the maximum.

Now the absolute weirdest feeling that I've had in the last 10 days or so is this:

At the highest heights of my imagination of what my fantasy Smuggler Revamp could be, I don't think it'd be enough to pull me away from WoW.

Now some of you that know me better may understand that even that whiff of a statement is a planet-killing meteor impact in itself. Well, just think about how I felt about it when I took a good honest look at my game desires. I've hungered for the Smuggler Revamp since I can't remember when and it's always been a hot button topic for me. But honestly right now I'm not even concerned. Which is weird to me. Regardless, though, I know how surprises can be "surprising" and I'll surely take a look at what comes down the wire...whenever they decide to transmit.

I'd also like to take a moment to apologize to any friends that don't necessarily read these Forums regularly and were wondering about Keer. I've been trying to post on the world reknowned SOE Galaxies Forums about my present status, but I've been getting some whacky error message when I try it. If ever there was an underline to the game decisions I'm making....

{LOL, just noticed in Post Preview that the Sony acronym has been auto-tagged with "EVIL". For the longest time I thought people were doing that themselves :lol: }

Don't be surprised though to see Keer Tregga pop in every now and then for the next year or so. Bascially until July 2005. If there's no Smuggler Revamp by that time I'm cancelling. Summary execution. Marvin Gaye, Jesus, and Jimmy Hoffa could be at the Revamp Launch. Wouldn't make a difference. Two years after launch is beyond enough time to wait.

If they don't have it by then, I'll check back in a couple of years when this game should be so squared away that Master Sergeant R. Lee Ermey himself would be proud to roll up a Rifleman toon in the Empire's beloved corps!

In the meantime, I'll be Role Playing as Praow, Undead Warlock, of the Demonology Talent discipline with minor degrees in Herbalism, Alchemy, and First Aid. Server is Argent Dawn.

You'll be sorely missed Keer. Keer will always have a place in Ekade's heart. Yours was the first character that pulled on her heartstrings. She totally ate up the smooth lines you were serving.

I always valued your insight and clear perspective on things. I was hoping you would post a writeup on WoW. Tell us about what draws you, and that sort of thing.

Much respect to you, Steve. And on that note I'm gonna toast and pop a snap top off of a tall cold can in a paper bag tonight during the football game. I wish I could say it was gonna be Colt 45 but uhh, my HMO doesn't cover that particular beer :lol:

Sorry to see you go! I've enjoyed running missions with you and interacting with your character. It's been a blast. I, too have contemplated moving to EQ2 or WOW. I hope to see you around once and awhile.
