yeah im new to the whole piloting but my current ship doesn't have sheilds and i need them badly

Check out the ZanJet vendor in the Nocturnus Trading Post (to the left when you get off the shuttle)...there should be one there. If not, send me or Cista a /tell in game and we'll set you up.
