I just got a palm pilot to use as my flying logbook (got my wife's old one, a zire 71) and was wondering if anyone who had one had some cool programs or games for it...

I once spent an entire day programming/writing names and addresses into my old Palm III, and then after using it for a short period of time, the batteries died, and I learned that it did not have any sort of permanent memory function.
I hate Palms now.
HATE.

If its one of the color ones you can resize some porn and put it on there. At least your palm can look as good as it feels...

That's... just... so... wrong.
I have an old Palm M505. It has NO permanent memory, however I backed up all of the data to an old memory card that came with my digital camera (which is also like 4 years old). I don't really use it for anything other than the address book and calculator.

Never owned a palm but, I have an HP 48GX with a calendar and address book. I always preferred it to the palm pilots. but now my cell phone has a tip calculator and I do no engineering anymore so why the hell would I carry an HP 48 around?
* shrug *
It is a really nice calculator though.
other programs it had were minesweeper, nibbles, and a picture viewer. I remember some of the other people at UK had some crazy programs on it. One guy even had his setup with cindy crawford(greyscale) on the desktop.
