Ok, I have not worked out all the details yet but in a while my other character known as Gaminos will be starting up the wookiee religion. I will post more detail about it later but this is just a notice for all of you out there furry and non furry. Ekade and I agreed that there should be diversification religion wise so I will soon be starting up the wookiee religion and the teachings of Bacca. (Yes Bacca is a real wookiee and he formed all wookies alike in the stories.) I need to do some more researching but I think I can pull it off. Is there anyone who would wish to join me and help me find out all possible to make this work out? I need help from people who know much about the wookiee and their past. I know a lot myself but every little bit counts.

Sounds like a wonderful idea. I, myself am not familiar with wookiee religion and I will focusing on the teachings of Goddess but it would be a most excellent alternative for diversification :D

Ok so far this is the basic of what I will be doing.
I am researching Wookies and their culture as well as reading comics with Wookies other then Chewbacca and books among other things. I am also studying things about Kashyyyk as well. I have to admit, playing KOTOR dose help things along. If I can get Gaminos enough money between now and later I might start up a guild based on wookiee culture but all species are allowed in just because Wookies are not the only one to believe in what they do. To be honest it is cool to read about how Wookies live and act. Their religion is simple but has a lot of meaning. I notice connection between their culture and other cultures. Grant it Wookies are not real but the whole concept and story made by people I find quite intriguing. Is there anyone who would like to help me with this?

Wookies aren't real? I just thought they didn't hang out in central PA.

some of the star wars paperback books can help you out on the culture of wookies

in fact, I can't remember the name of which ones, but the one where chewie dies has a lot of wookiee stuff in it

also, even some of the young teen reading has chewie's sons/daughters in it

and I know there are several SW species books out there that would explain them

well you really should, it talks a lot about wookiee death rites, and i believe its also the ones that talks about a young wooks (chewies nephew in this case I believe, its been a while) rights of passage into adulthood, where they have to go down to the deepest level of the forest, and kill a creature down there and bring back proof of it

very informative

chewie dies...someone from the main character roster has to die eventually, and this takes place more than 16 years after ROTJ...

Chewie DIES?!

Tell me he goes down in a "blaze of glory". You know...like Jon Bon Jovi in U-571? Who coincidentally wrote a song on the Young Guns II soundtrack by the same name?

I pikced up a novel that Norel let me borrow in RL and in the time line it shows Chewie's death. I thought that was lame.

Actually, I think they throw a moon at him and he doesn't catch it and it squishes him into the planet he's standing on.

Stupid wookies who can't catch.

Ok (puts on his geek hat)

The book is Vector Prime the first book in the New Jedi Oder period. I just happened to begin re reading it a coupple of days ago. For every one's refrence Chewie does die, for those of you who do not want the story spoiled skip down to the next paragraph. The Vong, an invading alien race from another galaxy, uses a weapon of sorts to bring a planets moon crashing into it. Han, Chewie and Han's youngest son, Anikan Solo help in the evacuation of the planet and are there up to the very last possible moment when Anikan books it off planet, leaving Chewie behind. Han blames his youngest son for the death of his oldest friend and that rift nearly tears the family apart and sends Han into a spiraling depresion. It is a really good read but only if you can get past our favorit wookies death

The Black Fleet Crissis trilogy is the serries of books where Chewie takes his son on his right of passage. I don't have much else in mind for wookiee belifes but you might find some thing in the Star Wars Gamer magazine.
