SWG Tales

Well, its that time of year where everyone gets time off work/school and probably a few extra bottles of booze are sitting around the house. In light of this occassion, I've devised the SWG Tales Drinking Game TM C etc.

When any of the following drinks occur, have a drink.

1. Ekade, Zannon, or Seret say the word 'doghouse'.

2. When a Post by Dwilah takes less than 5 minutes to read.

3. Everytime a post by Abos is longer than 8 words.

4. Jerrel starts a Top 5 list.

5. A new member joins the site. (If a Wookiee, drink twice)

6. An addition to Zannon/Dwilah's 'Sex Post' is added.

7. Anytime Jabe, Novall, or any of the smugglers whines about a smuggler revamp (or lack thereof).

8. Raggs attempts to recruit imperials.

9. Someone posts about leaving 'for a while' to play ______ (insert other MMO here)


If any of the following occur, have two drinks.

1. Dwilah uses improper punctuation and spelling.

2. Jaminos uses proper punctuation and spelling.

3. Ekade forgets to post an event's time, planet, time zone, etc.

4. Alonzo posts.

5. Dwilah uses some variant of the "!!!11eleventy1" joke.

6. Somone posts in the Imperial/Rebel Holonet Hubs.


Enjoy this new game with friends or family. If you can think of rules to add, please feel free to do so. In the meantime, happy drinking.

I was just mentioning this to ekade, when she told me she was in the doghouse with zannon and seret. After that I perused the forum and read dwilahs short post about Jabe's event, and then Abos came in with a lengthy response. I listed my Top favorite characters in jerrel's post, then saw that Plunk Murray had joined the forums. I avoided the additions to the zan/dwi sex post like the plague, then saw a trifecta smuggler rant between Jabe, Novall, and X'an. I laughed at Raggs trying to recruit more imperials, and watched as WoW took some players away from swg for a while.

/applaud Ringo.. that is damn funny.

I think and Ekade vs Novall post gets a whole round. Especially if it ends with the words "Sour Grape" or "Mane".

Four of fifteen parts of the game involve me. Do I really drive everyone to drink so much?

Personally, I think it's pretty shitty that you guys avoid and mock the supposed Zan/Dwi sex posts like the plague, because they really had nothing to do with sex and are just decent fan fiction. I guess the "Tales" part of the site isn't really catching on like I wanted it to. I'll just stop writing for your guys' enjoyment if that's the kind of feedback I can expect.

Hay! I enjoy your posts mister!!

I think the tales add depth that cannot always be appreciated through in game interaction. Please do not stop.

I also think they were joking, Mr. Crankypants.

I read them. I enjoy them cause they are about every day stuff and mention other events in passing. It makes me feel like people actually have live in Nocturnus and are not just folks that run around town for a few hours in the evening. But thats just my take.
