I have some AA's I want to drop into some armor...most are single's heavy weapon speed +whatever
now if they are dropped into the same piece, they won't stack correct? ie: a +1 and a +2 wont make a +3?
I also have 2 multi attribute aa's
one has 2 attributes and I want the first one
one has 3 attributes and I want the 2nd one (hw speed +5)
I was under the impression only one attribute sticks unless it is done a certain way....could someone explain the whole process?
thx

It is silly and insanely complex. I would suggest looking for some web sites that explain it. Crafters web sites are a good place to start. When I was a tailor I needed to know all about skill tapes so I could help clients who wanted to use them with bio engineered clothing.
But yeah, you put a +5 melee speed and a + 10 melee speed in an item and the total bonus is +10. Plus, the total bonus an outfit can give you is +25 regardless of what you put together.
DISCLAIMER:
My info may be dated. I have not been a tailor for over 7 months. I suggest checking SEVERAL crafter sites so you do not squander your investment.

Yes, it is very silly and by now I would of expected some Dev to come out and give us an explaination, any would do, even a long-winded one.
Basically you cannot stack tapes that modify the same stat. The object, whether it be armor or clothing, will only accept one.
Also, it will take the highest number modifier. So like Ekade said, put a +5 heavy weapons speed and a +10 heavy weapons speed in the same item and you will only get the +10.
For multi-skill tapes the same applies. If you use a +5 heavy weapons speed/+10 clothing experimentation/+2 pistol speed tape on an item the only stat that will stick is the +10 clothing expermintation. The only way around this is to already have a skill on the item to cancel the one you don't want onut. For example lets use the skill tape I just mentioned. Lets say you have an item that already has +2 clothing experimentation on it. If you drop that multi-skill tape on that item you will get the heavy weapons speed (which is the next highest modifier).
Make sense? Hell it barely makes sense to me and I wrote it.
