Phase 2: Surveying (Do it now if you want it)

Not sure if the directions are random, but I just unlocked the surveying branch in about twenty minutes? You have to find 50% spawns of different resources, and for each spawn you find you get a FS resource (like used in the crafting quests).

If you want it, get it and go to the Northern Endor Outpost. There's a TON of different resources that are over 50% right there at the outpost...then for iron, I went to Talus and ran about 500m away from the Northern starport to get that one.

So yeah. If you want it or you need an easy unlock...go for it.

Also, either as a reward or I just didn't notice it in my inventory until after the whole thing was over, I got an Inorganic Survey Device. Searches for everything--metal, gas, water--all in ONE CONVENIENT DEVICE. Strange and fun.

Alright here's a question...

I have done the mission to unlock my phase 1 tree but I don't have enough xp yet to get the novice box..can I still train in it since we're in phase 2? Also, can I get another unlock in phase two as well?

Yup. Unlocking is just that--you unlock the box and it makes it available to train in *whenever you get the XP.* You can unlock one block per thingyphase. For example, I've got three trees unlocked but still am working on the XP to get my first FS box.
