SWG Tales

SurrealFX is a sound system I wrote that lets the GM insert his own sounds in to an event. Tonight's event will be the pilot run for that system. I am asking people who know they are attending the event to direct their web browser to the appropriate page about 30 minutes before the event starts so that custom sounds can be pre-cached and ready to go.. Participation is not mandatory but will help in the immersion (I hope).

For each group here are the urls, just load the page before hand and leave the browser open in the background while you play, there are more instructions on the page. This sytem has only been tested on Internet Explorer 6 and Firefox.

I tested this with jabe tonight, and although it didn't work for me in firefox , it did work in IE 6 and it kicked major f;in ass!

Ooh! Can I hear these after the event? I don't want to miss out on any of this coolness.

I dont seem to have Internet Explorer listed under my Sound Events.
Wish I knew what it was. heh

easy solution - turn off all WINDOWS sounds

you can reactivate em after the event!

The music for this was awsome. Second I heard it start I doubled my efforts looking for trouble and told my squadron to do the same.

Some people experienced the effects some did not. Swgtales slowed to a crawl processing the sound directives. Perhaps it will work better in smaller groups, however I am glad that some were able to experience it!

Yep, I had it loaded but it didn't play very well with Firefox.

Where can I download the Fighter song, I really like that

Via the link he posted here. It's the one stating "The fighters were supposed to hear this" or some such.

I can hear it through WMP, but it doesnt give me the option to open or download it
