Being bored at work, I happened to look at the Gorath trade forums and saw this rifle. Is this stuff looted or made? Where does this stuff drop?

Has to be loot. No poison or disease dot weapons are make able, or so last I heard.

I looted a carbine with poison attributes not too long ago. I can't really even say where to be honest - I think it was from a Jabba's thug. I am not sure if its worth much though.

It's completely random. I've looted em off thugs, rebels, gungans, and jawas and such. The attribute is also always random, as well ast the potency and such. I got a couple of poison weps i saved just for shits and giggles. Including a CDEF.

Yeah and I doubt its something I can afford or really have a need for given the amount of pvp I do.

I have a DL20a rifle with a mind DOT (I believe). Don't remember the stats...like most DOT weapons, kinda worthless to me. I do enjoy using my nightsister lance that diseases people, though. Its fun to stick someone with a disease even though I *KNOW* I will be the one that ends up slaughtered on the floor.

I have a collection in Seret's office of DOT weapons (and my old faithful flamethrower). I kind of let the collection go for a while because I couldn't keep up with all the DOT weapons I was finding. Check them out in the top room of Seret's temple sometime.

But as it usually goes DOT weapons usually have terrible stats, or at least the 200 I've looted. Exceptional weapons are another story, thats why people hunt NS Elders so often. Just don't be fooled by Weaponsmiths who put Exceptional in the title of their weapons. Its cheap and I've seen it on vendors time and time again.

Weapons like this is what has ruined the combat encounters of this game.
