Make Firefox Blazingly Fast

For the Firefox users. I tried this, and it speeded it up a TON. Unfortunately the last instruction about nglayout didn't work for me, but the other two improvements (easy and painless to do) increased my speed by a crapton.

Even slow sites load faster now.

Edited to say that the tweak (pinging sites 30 times instead of 4 per second) is actually causing a few errors on this site. Hmmmn.

I noticed I couldn't send PM's today to people so either they yanked my privledges or there is actually something wrong. But I did just setup my new computer and am trying to work out some bugs.

Its not the tweaks - our web host is having problems with their outbound mail server. When you post a message the email notifier on this forum email notifies people that they have new replies. However it can't complete that function and therefore you see errors on the forum. It shouldn't last long.

try this for the nglayout thing, reset the other itemsback to false, back out, then go back in and do the nglayout thing first...first you name it, then you put "0" in the box, then reset the others back to true again

and yes it sure has speeded things up! good find by the xan man!
