I need help finding an armor smith, last night my Jacket died and that makes all but my shoulders of my armor gone. The problem is I ware, as a sort of my signature look, an unusual combo of armor. The problem is my last armor is no longer making armor and the stats he made on my last set of armor was awesome. I want to replace it with the same quality armor. I have no problem paying way out of line prices if I can find someone willing and capable of making the special order I want. Please if ya know anyone give me their name or give my name to them.

Jahal and Rajun are both good armorsmiths I've worked with. Rajun made me some Ith armor so he might be the one to go to for weird requests.

You can check with Machavelli also. He is a smith out of Fort Freedom on Dantooine.

Katrine out of Falcon Crest on Corellia does all of my custom work.

Katrine, That's her name...she does good work too. And lots of it...I think her falcon crest mall has a vendor for every type of armor that stays stocked pretty well. Pricey, but very good. I have a suit by her that is 80 resists to everything but stun. Post slicage of course, but the stats where pretty awesome to begin with.

Very good work.. she's the only one I'll buy armor from. And from all the browsing around I've done I wouldn't say her prices are any higher than the norm for that HQ armor.

I wasn't saying she was expensive as a bad thing. Just lettin' peeps know that its good armor, but the price isn't anything to write home about...its competetive for high end suits.

What I think is great about her work is the sheer bulk of it. Most smiths only make and sell comp. And it is irritating as hell. Her vendors had full suits of the wookiee stuff...the ones that take the god awful amounts of resources to craft. F

I never meant to imply that you were saying it was a bad thing. What I'm saying is that her prices aren't as expensive as many other vendors I've browsed for (mostly) lesser quality armor.

Her Wookiee armor IS the best I've found to wear PLUS she is very fun to deal with on custom work. I'll go without armour rather than purchase someone's else's.

The thing I have problems with is getting padded. Its all I wear, when I wear armor. I have a barely used set of comp in my yacht I think. But that was my CM/Doc's armor. I just decided it was too expensive to destroy.

I try to hunt Lokian Leathery and Yavin Wooly when the stats are good just to make it easier for AS's to do a custom job for me.

My alt's a master AS. Although I hate looking for resources, if anyone wants they can bring the resources for whatever they want to me and I'll make it free of charge. Same goes for droids.

Yeah Speaking of Padded Armor. Ive had problems finding anyone to make some special kind for Isleh and me using some nice Rancor padded segments Isleh and I had been collecting, and in certain colors. Starting about 5 months ago..

I went to Katrine and she said "boing boing! no Padded". I went to Ketai, could not even get one response to any e-mails I sent him. Tried a friend who is master armorsmith and she said she would do it then she turned around and said I don't want to because Im afraid I'll mess it up, because I don't typically do padded or some such. After a little bit of time, and most recently, I asked a former guild mate who has a Master AS alt and he said he would do it, and had all the needed resources,(some of which we helped to provide) and came and got the Ranc padded segments, still has them I suppose, but Ive not yet heard back from him when I asked how the suits are coming along.

So now I can't even go to any other Armorsmith because I don't know where the segments are unless we wanted suits without the segments. Will keep Jahal and Rajun in mind though, thankies Dwilah.
