Whar is the last remaining member of his religion. He Is looking for others to carry it on, and to spread it in the event that his fan club of thugs should catch up to him...

Allthough Whar is not the best guy around, he doesnt accurately represent the fundamentals of his faith. These are:

Generaly good Morals. (try to be a good samaritan)
A God who is always faithful and forgiving. (Whar strays even though he is called to a special purpose)
several classes within the religion:
Watchers (basic believers, who recruit and make up the majority of followers)
The Called (visionaries, priests, prophets, ordained followers. Usually more devoted to their religious tasks than fighting or outreach)
Zealots (Defenders of the Called)

Shortly after their hidden temple was destroyed by Imperials (killing all but Whar) Whar was given the gift of visions. He would be considered one of the called, but he was a zealot. While being a firm believer he is quite flawed. He lacked the self control and responsibility for this Gift, which has now been forced on him.

More details can be sent to you if you post with interest in joining. Whar can see what caste will fit you best.

Well it is always cool to add one more religon to the tree. grant it the only ones being practiced is Ekades and Gaminos's which reminds me I need to get Gaminos going on that. So you can join the Wookiee Religon, the Twi'lek religon or the Whar religon. Now only thing we need to do is get about two million others to start up.

By the way, Whar is not considered the "called class" He's just got the calling due to the fact he's the only one left.... more on this later.

A little late but here it is, you can also see a version of it in the IC threads.

most initiates take a while to develop into a certain class.
Some ancient relics exist from the religion. Ekade has one even though she doesn't realize thats what it is.
One fundamental of the classes is a fierce devotion to eachother, fearlesness, Compassion (sometimes supressed)

Watchers tend to travel and hold normal possitions. They were called watchers because they had to carefully determine who to outreach or try and recruit, because there are many who would love to silence them.

Zealots made up a small part of the remaining group when Whar was converted. But he was recruited for his devotion, selflesness, and his history as a murderer. Zealots tend to be selfless and fierce. most were good at combating multiple enemies. They served somewhat like personal guards to the Called. They were the first to die during the assault on the temple. Zealots only use lethal force for defense.

The Called were preists, clairvoyants, and teachers. They devoted themselves to prayer. They would often continue to work in certain professions while staying together and migrating as a group. The called liked to stay together making it easier for the zealots to protect them.

The story of Whar and the last temple:
(in case you didnt piece it together from the "driving force thread")
Whar was a thug, who assasinated clan nobles and such. He met a female Rhodian (Chianna) and was pursuing her while he continued to kill for money. She laid morals on him and eventually after almost killing a wookiee child he realized he was serving evil. Whar left this profession to follow Chianna to Tatooine. There he helped them build an underground mining facility. This Mining facility was also their residence and temple. The called and Zealots worked there together. Devoted work was part of their worship. Watchers would also spend time there learning and working for short periods of time.
Here Whar quickly changed, his fresh combat skills made him perfect for becoming a Zealot. Imperials sent small squads to attack the temple after a watcher and a couple initiates were captured, tortured to reveal the location, then executed. All followers had returned to the temple to defend it. When a large group of Imperials and mercinaries attacked, there were not many followers left. Whar recalled about two dozen Watchers a handful of initiates, 7 total zealots, and 9 Called. About half the watchers and Zealots were killed in the initial defense. Things got MUCH worse after that...
More of the defenders fell as they fell back deeper into the underground corridors. Whar and another zealot went to retrieve the priest (the called).
The Imperial officer in charge had a bounty hunter plant a bomb inside the facility. Pressure resulting from the other defeats meant sacrificing those inside was preferable over another defeat.
The attackers then tried to hold the corridors leading to the exits (they were told reinforcements were coming). Those who were left inside knew about the bomb. A spearhead was made down a set of corridors to make an escape. The spearhead group was to break through the Imps as Whar and the other zealot escorted the others out. As they ascended to the surface Whar kept track of the bodies of his friends. He's the only one who knows if the first group were all killed. The bomb detonated before they were clear.
Whar awoke on the surface surrounded by the bodies of his friends. He dissapeared after that.

The class names were just slang that was used to describe them. It was common for "The Called" to be called priests, even though they had other tasks or habitations. Each class were described by a word of their ancient language. Whar has been studying the language a lot since he has been on his own. Its not uncommon to hear him spit out a word or two.

There are many things that can only be revealed by Whar, or you can get a spoiler if you PM me. :)

There's the Info, to tie this story into this RP community I have a few openings, you can PM me if you want to be the char involved as any of these:

The Imperial Commander
The Bounty Hunter who (set us up the bomb, all your base are belong to us)
Maybe another survivor...

MORE INSIGHT:

This religion doesn't really cohabitate well with Ekade's, It had not been a priority to confront them in the past. Whar's interaction with Ekade was not inspired because of this. Soon that story will have closure.
The story of the temple destruction is becoming common Imperial gossip on Tatooine. Whar is suspected by Imperials, but they never confirmed anything. (for RP purposes) Imperials may have a slight knowledge of the event, and the name Whar may or may not ring a bell.
Unless Ekade and her followers have spread it, they are the only ones who know the information Whar is harboring.
(FOR RP) Any reference to the religion in game will be presumed to be attained through gossip. I am developing a (somewhat) large scale story depending on the reaction to this thread.
The name of the deity, and the religion are secret, PM ME to join, and for more info... I am only publicizing what I want to be open knowledge for gossip, recruiting, and higher up imperials...

Ekade did not learn much from her interrogation of Whar. His subsequent escapes prevented her from doing a follow up.

Basically her purpose was to ensure the safety of her sisters. She has tried to find Glacial, she wants to speak with him.. but he has been MIA. That sort of turned in to a dead end.

If you want me to do something to help propel your story along, I am more than happy to do so. Just let me know. :D

Ekade does keep her eye open for Whar, but does not perceive him as an immediate threat.

Of course I'm MIA! =) I don't want to perpetuate the common misconception that all Bothans are spies, but Glacial is compelled to use his history in that arena. The end result:

A busy Glacial is an broad-travelling, hard-to-track Glacial. Not that he's secretive, just that there are alot of people in want of his time. Besides, I always assumed that my rarity was what made Glacial more fun to run into than his shining personality.

A.K.A. My break and school is rocking my world. When I'm on, I'm usually either semi-afk (it's my security blanket while I wrestle with homework) or dutifully playing at whatever I'm doing. If anyone needs to find me, it'll prolly require a PM or email, a dose of patience, and an arranged 'chance' meeting.

I miss the waterfall of RP I was getting into, but I'll post something IC to expain this new distance from Nocturnus. Until we meet, GdD.
