Maybe I won't be requesting anything...anyone read the rules on requests for today?
First go to the redcross website...
Donate at least 100 dollars...
Get your reciept e-mailed or faxed to you and send it to wxrt with your request and IF THEY HAVE time, they will play it. Hmmm
I am about charity and goodwill as much as the next guy (I just bought a homeless guy lunch at a McDonalds in downtown chicago last week), but come on. Don't call them requests. Call them purchases. Cuz that's what they are...hundred dollar or more purchases for 3 and a half to 5 minutes of air time.

Yeah, I was posting more about it being commercial free all day and they're playing whatever people want, not the same old crap you hear over and over on regular radio. I can't do $100 either, but I thought it is a cool idea.

Yeah, it is a good idea. But to be honest, hearing a radio station play "There's a Hippo In My Bathtub" on the air may actually be worth 100 bucks. Plus, you could write it off at the end of the year, because you have the receipt.
