So there was a post on the SOE boards about the first FULL suit of mando armor assembled in SWG...its on Corbantis. Very impressive....

Except...

That I wouldn't be caught dead in it. Once you finally get to see the screen of the guy wearing it, you are sufficiently unimpressed. The sheer lack of color coordination is appaling. Its like they asked Ray Charles to do the colors. The parts that DO match are in these two gross looking colors that don't seem to match anyway. Its not as visually impressive as it should be.

Congratulations to them for doing the GRUELING death watch bunker crap enough times to get 9 pieces.

Boooo to them for not at least attempting to make a decent LOOKING set.

Though, I haven't seen it. I kind of like the idea that it might look worn and grongy (intentionally misspelled). It's supposed to be from a bygone era, right. Or does my canon need an update?

I didn't post the link originally because it took like 8 pages to navigate before you actually found the pics. Wanted to save some of the fun for the rest of you.

Upon further investigation of the armor pics I have decided that if there were a janitor profession in swg, his uniform colors would look something akin to these.

Personally I'm one of the folks who is against Mando Armor being in the game for players to get and wear. I'm against it because I wish people would stop trying to be Boba Fett in the game because you never will. Fett, like all other popular SW characters, is supposed to be unique and mysterious. Since Mr. Lucas debunked Fett in Episode II and fanboys constantly run around thinking they are Boba Fett its practially ruined the character for me.

Allready in the game as part of the bunker...and you can even fly around using it instead of driving a speederbike.

Ditto to what Seret said. The Fett mystique has been pimped to the highest of pimptivity. And that's "pimped" in it's most negative connotation.

Why can't we just have Fett driven by a "Digiteer" and show up every now and then to whack people out? Same with Vader?! They are really missing out on some good opportunities.

You can have that done...I had it set up for an event once and then had to back out of it due to scheduling problems.

I know it is in the game already...I was saying how long do you think it will be before the guys who crafted this set of armor add the jetpack to the collection. Along the lines of Seret's Fett-ishism. People are so enthralled with him that it kills his draw.

Nobody is happy with the way the mandalorian armor colors randomly. They want them to impliment a selection tool like on Comp armor, which I don't think would be too difficult (and should be done for like all armor)

But I never really liked Fett so much to begin with, he was cool and stuff be he just never seemed to do too much. Just like "He's no good to me dead." and "Boba Fett? Boba Fett!" and stuff. /shrug, I think the Mandalorian helmet is kinda goofy anyway, it's like Boba's face. I wouldn't want to wear that. The chestplate is what gets me though, and the biceps, that's what I really want.

Though if all the armor in that suit they got matches the helmet it would look pretty damn cool.

I called the whole event "Both Ends Against the Middle." Or at least that's what I called the IC posts about it.

personally I think the coolest bounty hunters are those other guys... you know... those other dudes in that scene, with the vader guy.
