I have been inviting a bunch of friends and roleplayers to the site.

If you are new to this forum and looking for some RP or something fun to do, post here. Also, make mention of what sort of things you would like to get involved in. Be it some intrigue, or just some more people to interact with, you name it.

Well, I can tell you that I'm here for people to interact with. I think roleplayers make other roleplayers better, and I'm always trying to get better. I'd like to see what other events are out there, as well as what other roleplayers are doing with their characters ingame.

I've kind of been thinking about this, and at times it seems that the RP is static. Too static for Star Wars. I'd like to propose we come up with some type of dynamic RP that somehow involves action.

It seems pretty straightforward, the drama in Star Wars.. There's not a lot of intrigue (I'm talking about the original, and not the forced political intrigue of the prequels), so I'm thinking that mayhaps building Scum and Villiany night to not only take place at The Despot, but at Jabba's palace? It's big enough in there to RP without any random theme-parker stumbling upon us.. And the dancers could dance with Oola!

Warring factions, criminal acts, futile struggles to get off planet, and this is just on Tatooine...

Actually, we've kicked around the idea of Scum and Villany night being held at a different location each week, or a set pattern of locations over a few weeks. Jabba's palace might be cool, but it's remote location may turn people off (some people, like me a very lazy). I do like the idea of moving it around, maybe after we have a couple more (to iron out the way some of us run things there...like last weeks Nocturnus Drama).

Bravo! I'd thought of Jabba's as a possible location myself. Zan's right about the location, but there our RP could give us exposure to any aspiring RP'ers in the Theme Park or Corvette Mission crowd. Lotta "fish" to possibly hook... (sorry Dooo )

It's HUGE in Jabba's place. And the traffic and passages there can give it atmosphere similar to the movie (or better).

I like the idea of moving around.... just one thing.

Seret isn't well liked by Jabba. Thats mainly why he's on such good terms with Lady Valarian. I'd love to see a S&V night happen in Jabba's palace but I wouldn't be able to come if I stayed in character.

Plus you would also have to make sure everyone has completed the theme park so they could get into the Throne room. Just don't want to alienate someone for that.

I hate to be a nay-sayer. I just want to make sure everyone has all bases covered.

Yup, I haven't done that theme park yet. I'd have to stay home.

Ditto. I haven't been to Jabba's yet. I'm still leery of hanging out around any Hutts after uh..."acquiring" a certain town from them.

That has been done from time to time and some folks have plans in the works to do more of it.

Yes, like Zannon said, we have thought about moving this around. The one problem I see is communication. Some people find out about S&V night my word of mouth or happenstance. If we move it... will they know? Will we lose people because of it?

I've been looking for some good RPing to get into. Interested in anything really. Look me up if you have need of someone with interesting abilities.
