This Monday Night

Again I will be holding duel practice on Monday Jan 17th 8:30 CST. Lets meet in Doaba Guerfel, Corellia. Ill wait near the starport.

Duel Format:
1 vs 1 one person challenges then bows, the other bows then Center of Being (to show he/she is about to accept) and accepts, the duel begins.

X vs X each person /duel their opponents, when the cursor is red over your target(s) type /nod to let everyone know you are ready. once everyone has nodded, the leader of one team will Center of Being and the duel will begin.

Dizzy and falling down: this will be allowed from now on, it is a critical aspect of a melee fighter, BUT if after 3 attacks they still cannot stand up be honorable and /peace until they stand. DO NOT hesitate to attack once they stand! (if hit in the head and someone is dizzy irl, this would greatly lower their combat ability, but I feel its dumb when for 2 mins you cant stand up and lose a duel without even attacking)

Lastly I would like to say this: losing is not a bad thing, the goal of this is not to come and pwn our friends, but to practice dueling and pvp, change your tatcics from duel to duel, use different attacks, find what moves hit hard, what moves use a lot of HAM (and which ones dont :P), dont forget lunge1 it disrupts the other person, remember ranges and accuracy of your weapons... maybe lunge someone and move 10m away and keep using the lunge attack. all of this is leading up to a contest ill hold where the goal is to incapo your opponent in the fewest attacks.

When we hit summer I will be able to participate. Right now mondays and tuesdays are tied up with sporting events I am involved in IRL.

no buffs, no food, spice would make you slower on your feet, or not think right I feel (like drugs in sporting events) and armor well witharmor Dariis will sometimes wear ubese bracers (its a part of his outfit) but no helms for sure, and prolly no chest armor, but if you want gloves or boots, or something you feel your character would be able to wearand still perform right in, give it a try...why not say a limit of 2 pieces of armor but no chest or helm?
