Er, I'm at work today.
Not sure my vote in the poll reflects that or not.

It is possibly how it is phrased. Because you could say does your employer require you to be at work and doing something in the companies interest. Hell you never HAVE to work =).

Damn all of you people with government or financial institute related jobs.
And you lousy teachers.
Needless to say, I had to work today. In fact, most of my day was spent redoing something that should have been done right in the first place...if the idiot woman who smells like a bowling alley did it properly. Like she has been doing for the last 8 years.
She makes me feel better about the fact that I work for my father. This "woman" (trust me, I use the term loosely) is the daughter of the owner (my dad is the veep)...and she doesnt do much of anything... Besides eat nearly 6 digits in company profit every year.
Work sucks.

It's how it's phrased, but not how you're looking at it.
The Thread Title is: Am I the Only Person at Work Today? Answer: No.
The Poll Question is: Are You at Work Today? Answer: Yes.
It's just a little confusing is all if you're reading it fast because you're at work and have work to do, etc. ;P

Off. And this is the first Martin Luther King Day that I've been off in many a year.
And on that note, here's hoping that the human race can all get to "the mountain top" someday.

Well I am at work many days that most of you are off. I can be at work 24/7 if they so deem so. I am just saying that just because I am at work doesn't always mean I am working. Hell I put in 60+ hours some weeks but others I just do the bare minimum necessary and leave.
Such is the life of a soldier.
